-John's POV-
The dreadful day has come. The day I have to leave Freddie for two. whole. months. I will forever regret this day for as long as I shall live on this earth. Freddie has been comforting me on the drive there, and for some reason, Roger was crying. I assume that things had worked out for them since Brian spoke with his parents and they may have accepted them as a couple. "Rog, why are you crying?", Fred asked still hearing him sobbing. "He's overwhelmed with emotions, Freddie. I can't really read him right now.", Brian replied, "I tried comforting the best I could, maybe I could settle him down better when we get home."
"That's one place I'll be away from for two months. I kinda hate that.", I lament. "Don't be fretful my love, I promise you, you're gonna be alright. Make yourself at home while you're at it. I packed you plenty of little trinkets to remind you of home.", Freddie comforted. "Thanks, I appreciate that.", I uttered, peering out the window.
A thousand miles later, we finally arrived. The facility was impeccably huge and larger than thought of. "We're here.", Bri announced as he parked the vehicle. I sighed swallowing my pride thickly, I knew I had to give up alcohol in order to maintain a healthy relationship with Freddie and respect his boundaries he had set. "It looked so average compared to what it looked like in the adverts.", Freddie noticed that this may have been slightly false advertising as he gazed high upon it, "it'll do, now come along, Deacon."
Tears came into the corner of my eyes, seeping gently down my cheeks warmly. I sighed briefly and brushed away the very few quickly drying from my face. "Let's go." I breathed, firmly squeezing Freddie's hand. He nodded and he guided me out the vehicle, he handed me my packed suitcase to me and we walked in. We were met with this young receptionist woman, bright olive eyes, wavy brassy tan hair, and coral lipstick on her lips. She was a gorgeous young woman.
"How I may I assist you gentleman? Reservation made?", she inquires. "For Deacon, the two month retreat. He's already signed up.", Freddie had to further explain before she could help us. She took a look into some files on her desk, scanning the documentation inside. "Ah yes, for John. You're right, he is signed up for it. Allow me to give my manager a call to let her know you're here." She dialed for the manager to arrive, taking action, my nerves rose as my anxiety increased gradually. 'Relax', I heard Freddie whisper to me.
"Avery will be here in a moment to guide you to your room.", the receptionist said smiling gentle. Seeing how anxious and worried I was getting, Freddie excused us and pulled us to the side, speaking to me lowly, "Deaky, don't worry, you'll be okay here, I promise you there's good people here. Besides, I'm already so proud of you for going through this."
I hugged him close, managing to suppress a small sob while doing so. He knew how badly I was gonna miss him. 'I'll miss you, Freddie.', I whispered. 'I know, I will too, babe. Very much.', he whispers back. Eventually, a woman with straight raven hair and cerulean eyes, who I assume was Avery, stopped by. "Deacon?", she called. 'Time to go, baby doll. You've got this!', Freddie whispers letting go of me. I walked over to the woman and followed her, I looked back and waved Freddie goodbye. I felt as if that were the very last time I ever get to see him.
