-Brian's POV-

I was on my way to Fred's flat, I didn't explain much to Freddie about my visit. I was there to pick up Roger and take him home, as I had missed him quite a bit. Yes, even though we fought a lot lately, I've realized that I appreciate him for not forcing me into things. I never meant to kick him out, I was very frustrated at the time. I've always thought about how he had been feeling. Sad. Hurt. Likely confused. But I hope he'll be surprised when I arrive.

I made it to the block where Freddie's place was, and yes, I walked. The weather was warm enough to do so, I'm only five blocks away anyway. Yes I could've drove, but walking was great exercise. Continuous thoughts of seeing my blonde baby ran through my mind. And I hoped he was doing okay at least, helping John and helping himself. The weather grew a little chilly for some reason, but I was near the place anyway. Minutes later, I finally approached the flat. I rang his doorbell and patiently waited for an answer. Freddie opened the door, wearing nothing but a robe around him. "Ah, you're here. Come on inside!" he greeted. I walked inside and there I saw... him. My blonde baby boy was still asleep on the couch, he looked angelic as always.  Gosh, I didn't want to wake him from his slumber, but I wanted to see his expression when he sees that I'm here to get him and take him back home.

"So Brian, what exactly are you here for again?" Freddie asked. "Oh, uhm... I was checking in on John. How is he?" I lied. "Not too good, he had an intense breakdown before going to bed last night. Turns out he had a secret bottle of raspberry wine. I still couldn't believe he hid that from me. I feel that I can't trust him, but Roger told me that his mood changes are part of the withdrawal.", Freddie handed me a cup of coffee as he explained. "Geez. I hope he's still committed to being sober." I replied, taking a sip. "He is. But I think the withdrawal is taking over temporarily. He's still asleep right now, I'll let him be." Fred lamented.

I peered over at Roger again, watching him snooze softly. "Rog had a pretty rough night as well. He woke up at around one this morning crying, he had a nightmare about...well, about you." he said to me. I frowned a little, he may have had a nightmare about something terrible. A breakup. Me hurting him. "I'm so sorry he was experiencing that." I murmured. "Darling, it's not your fault, I promise. He too has a lot on his mind. The poor thing vented to me all until he was sleepy. Don't be so hard on yourself, Bri." Fred comforted. I sighed and glared at my baby boy.

"The real reason why I came over was to pick him up and take him home." I confessed. "Aww, well why didn't you say so? He'll wake up eventually." Fred peeked over at the couch to see the blonde. "I'll go wake up John, see if I can cheer him up a little." he walked away to his bedroom. I set my coffee down on the coffee table and still kept my eye on the sleeping blonde.

I gently stroked a lock of his golden hair.  I felt so bad for him, especially since he had some kind of nightmare about me. "I'm so sorry, my little baby."I gently whispered, "but don't worry, I'm right here."

-Roger's POV-

"....but don't worry, I'm right here." I heard a familiar voice whisper. In my mind I thought I was really hearing things since I was only half awake, but I didn't dare open my eyes.

"Hey...sweetie...wake up."

Everything was a blur as I tried being fully awake. And then surely after struggling to be awake, I felt I was on someone's back. But then I fell back asleep.

"Oh, you're still here. Are you sure you want to carry him all the way home like that?"

"I could, but I wouldn't mind a ride. I only live a few blocks from you, Fred."

"I know. John, sweetheart, could you grab the keys?"

"Only if I can at least get—"

"Just go get the keys."

"Poor guy. He’s been out for two months and still hasn’t recovered."

"It’s the withdrawal. He’s always on edge, and it’s starting to worry me."

"Yeah, I see what you mean. I think he'll be fine though."

"That poor blonde’s still out? He must be seriously wiped."

"Pretty sure I saw him try to wake up for a sec."

My entire body was completely exhausted from ranting to Freddie almost all night. I'd rather stay asleep for as long as I could. Moments later, I felt some sort of....movement. I must've been in a car. I heard more noises, arguing to be exact.

"That’s not fair! Why can’t I just have one damn glass? Just one! It’s not like I’m asking for the world!"

"Because, sweetheart...you’ve been out for two months. You fought for that. You promised yourself, and I promised I’d help you stick to it. I’m not letting you throw that away just because it hurts."

"No. No, see—that’s where you’ve got me so damn twisted and fucked up! You think this is just about last night? You have no fucking idea what it’s been like in here—in my head—while everything kept moving without me."

"Oh, come on now. You’re spiraling again. Don’t do this."

"Don’t what? Don’t feel like I’ve lost control?"

"Deaky, you’re being ridiculous. Calm down."

"That’s not nice. And it’s not fair either." You’re supposed to be the one who understands."

"I do babe, I do!

-Brian's POV-

"I'm this close to turning this vehicle around and going straight to—"

"Guys enough!", I hollered, I saw Roger moving around. "You're about to wake him up. He's already disturbed by you two arguing! Get it together already!"

"You’re absolutely right, Brian. We sincerely apologize for that. Rest assured, we’re almost at your place.", Fred apologizes. "Apology accepted, and thanks for taking us back.", I replied, I traced my fingers along Roger's back.

We got to my place safely without John's mood getting in the way. I carried my boyfriend inside bridal style after they drove off. I laid him gently on the couch. He was still fast asleep, he must've wanted to sleep more since he wasn't even awakened yet obviously. But since he's here, I've tried waking him up by gently shaking him, and tried caressing his blonde hair. Until finally, I heard him yawn and his bright ocean and drowsy blue eyes stared up at me.

"Hi baby, welcome home."
