"Well hello Shark Bait, long time no see" you teased.
The two gentleman stepped back startled at your sudden appearance. It took a second for the taller one to recognize you before his mouth turned up in a sharp toothed smile.
"Ah if it isn't the little leaf shinobi" Kisame scoffed before relaxing his stance.
"The one and only" you said with a bow.
"Out of our way" The other man said pulling your attention.
"Who the hell is the hunchback with cornrows?" you asked.

"This is Sasori" Kisame said struggling to hold back a laugh.
"Ohhhh the puppet master right? So this is one of the puppets?" you asked reaching out towards him. A sharp metal scorpion like tail flew out from underneath his cloak and lunged towards your hand. Kisame took one step forward removing his sword from his back, a small gust of air blew your hair back as the sword swung down blocking the tails strike. His tail recoiled but aimed to strike again when Kisame spoke.
"Not this one Sasori" he spoke, his tone was surprisingly stern.
"Yea what he said" you nervously said feeling your heart pound in your chest.
"What does it matter? Why protect this useless girl?" Sasori asked still holding his tail at the ready.
"She might be useless but she is protected by Itachi so unless you want to deal with him leave her be" he warned.
"What the hell! I'm not useless you assholes!" you said looking angrily between the both of them. Kisame smiled with one corner of his mouth at your reaction.
"Whatever let's keep moving" Sasori tucked his tail away and started to push past you. Kisame waited till he was a few feet away before coming closer and whispering to you.
"Itachi sends a warning, something big is coming and you need to get out. He said go home and that you would know what that means" he pulled away after giving you the message.
"Thank you for the warning, I'm honestly surprised though" you said looking up into his black eyes.
"That he would warn you?" he asked.
"No, that you would tell me. It didn't end well the last time we saw each other." You narrowed your eyes at him confused by his actions.
"Trust me little shinobi I still don't like you and once Itachi dies I'll probably kill you just for fun. For now though your safe" he said with a cocky smile.
"Anyone ever tell you that your smile makes you look like a piranha with an underbite?" you asked biting your lip to keep from smiling.
"I hope he dies soon" he said annoyed an walked past you. He got about 5 feet away before you called out his name.
