Chapter 19

It felt as if you had been electrocuted.  The hair on your arms stood up straight,  feeling like your heart was having palpitations.

"I-i didnt know you knew about him. Why didn't you ever say anything?" You asked nervously.

"Well we were friends and I figured you would tell me when you were ready. Plus after what happened and he left I thought it might be too hard for you to talk about" he said with a shrug.

"I swear if I knew what he was going to do that night I would've talked him out of it. He just told me he had a mission that he wouldn't be able to come back from" you blurted out, immediately covering your mouth with your hands.

Genma reached out taking your hands in his. "I dont blame you for not saying anything, and I won't tell anyone okay?" He rubbed the back of your hands trying to reassure you. "You know I was never jealous of how smart and skilled he was, I was always just jealous he got to be with you" he pulled your hand to his lips lightly kissing your knuckles which made you immediately blush.

"Thank you for always being amazing.  You really have helped me through some of the hardest points in my life. Not once did you talk down to me when I left the Academy and You obviously respected my privacy" you had to look away at the last part.

"I'd do anything for you (Y/N). I've loved you for a long time, not always romantically but I've never pictured life without you" his eyes locked with yours again and you knew every word he said was true.

"What made your feelings towards me change?" You asked.

"When we were young you were just always my bestfriend. The person I wanted to show all my cool moves to, and chase around town playing tag. Eventually I got older and I realized how easy everything was with you. I didn't have to try and impress you, you liked me flaws and all. So over time I just saw you differently. I noticed how beautiful your smile was and how it lit my heart on fire. I started to take more notice of your body and how beautiful you grew to be each day. When your parents died I saw how sad you were and all I wanted to do was hold you. Then it just clicked, I was so deeply in love with my bestfriend. Then I figured out about Itachi and could see some of that sadness in you left and I just wanted you to be happy not confused.  Of course here I am in competition again, but this time I'll make my intentions known" he moved his hand behind your neck pulling your lips to his. His kiss was sweet but filled with so much emotion. You let yourself go in the kiss deepening it, gently biting his lip. He pulled you onto his lap running his hands over your body. Urges would soon take over so you pulled away from the kiss resting your forehead against his.

"Is something wrong?" He asked confused.

"No your honestly perfect which is why I cant. Trust me when i say you deserve someone better than me" you released a deep sigh.

" (Y/N), I'm probably going to say this all wrong, but I don't care if you've been with others. Even if some were very recent" he said looking you in the eyes. You were shocked again by his words, did he just guess? Did it say sexual fiend across your forehead and you just didn't know it. "I know the situation I'm in. I'm fully aware that you might choose someone else, and if that's the reason you want to stop that's fine. If you've already chosen him, that's fine. But if you just wanna stop because you think I'd think badly of you if I knew, then your wrong." His face was determined and his words as true as ever.

Your brain was jumbled. You had feelings for Genma sure and your whole being wanted to feel his hands on your body again. But somewhere in the back of your brain was Kakashi and Itachi. Would it be fair to anyone to go down this route and see what's there. Itachi had told you to go find love but could you? Was it love with Kakashi or was it lust? So many questions ran through your brain. You didnt feel guilty about your time with Itachi, he was the love you had been waiting for, but would you feel guilty about Genma? Your heart, head and body all wanted different things. Small tears made their way from your eyes running down your cheeks.

Genma could see the war in your brain. He pulled you in close just holding you, gently rubbing your back. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have started all this. You just had a traumatic event happen and your not even healed and here I am putting moves on you. Please forgive me." He held you tighter as the apology spilled from his lips.

You pulled back looking at him "please dont apologize, you didn't upset me. I think the emotions from the last few days just hit me harder than I was ready for. Will you carry me to my room?" you asked.

"Of course beautiful" he stood up and picked you up bridal style taking you up to your room. He laid you gently down on your bed. "Do you need anything else?"

"I'm still pretty sore could you help me change?" He blushed slightly at your words. He found an oversized shirt and clean panties handing them to you. You quickly took off your shirt and bra as he turned away, you then slid on the shirt. Taking your bottoms off was far more difficult due to your newly healed wounds, the skin was still rather tender. He heard you give out a low yelp. Turning back toward you he came over to help, he slowly slid them down, he then reached for your panties but hesitated.  Guiding his hands back to your waistband he slowly slid those down. The blush on his cheeks was obvious as was the bulge in his pants. He quickly slid the new pair on you turning away when he was done.

"I guess I'll be going now" he said still facing away.

"Actually could you stay....." you mumbled.

"Oh yea, sure. I'll just be on the couch then" he started to walk away.

"I meant in here with me. I don't want to sleep alone please?" You felt embarrassed to ask but really didnt want him to leave yet.

"As much as I want to say yes I really shouldn't.  Being that close to you.... I dont think I'd be able to control myself." His shoulders slumped forward a bit as he spoke.

"Then dont. Dont control yourself" you said.

He finally turned back around and crawled into the bed next to you pulling you into his chest. His eyes were filled with love but his body had other ideas.

*Heyo! I was so torn with myself on this chapter. I need to know if you guys want a lemon scene with Genma. I personally adore him and want to write one for that reason but what do you think? If not I can easily play it off as a night of cuddling haha! Leave me a comment or suggestion! Also I started my Haikyuu fanfic, currently writing chapter 4, once I get about 9 chapters I'll publish it. It's also an xreader but with 5 Captains as love interests (Daichi, Kuroo, Bokuto, Ushijima, Oikawa) with fluff and lemons for each. I know that's alot lol but i cant be a hoe in real life but I can and will be in my imagination so if your into that let me know! I'll keep you updated with that story also!
