Sae-byeok comes home after the games-

Y/n pov-

"Y/n, I have to go but I promise I will come back to you. ok?" Sae-byeok held my face, I had no idea what she was talking about or where she was going.

"Sae-byeok what do you mean? Where are you going?" she lowers her head- What is she not telling me!?

"I'm sorry... I can't tell you- it's for your own safety. Just please promise me that... if I don't come back you will look after Cheol for me" She refused to look me in the eyes, I heard my heartbeat in my ears, tears threatened to fall, my mouth became dry and a lump formed in my throat 'Was she leaving me?'

This was the last conversation I had with Sae-byeok before she disappeared. It's been almost 2 months now, police said this ain't the only missing person report recently and that they are trying to do as much as they can. 'Bullshit'

The rain was heavy against the window, snuggled up in one of Sae-byeoks hoodies imagining that the sweet warmth it provided was from her. It was late, my eyes felt heavy and I soon stopped fighting it, Leaning my head against the window listening to that sound of the rain and wind as it started to soothe.

Knock

Knock

Knock

My head shot up, staring at the door in pure horror. 'It's 2 in the morning, who the hell is at my house'. I thought to myself, silently walking to the kitchen grabbing the closest knife. The knocking on the door continued but the sound of force and effort in the knock decreased.

"Whos there!?" I call, too scared to open the door. My grip on the knife tightened.

"Y-Y/n" The voice sounded raw and afraid. I instantly recognized it and placed the knife down on the table next to the front door, opening the door as fast I could only to be met with the most beautiful sight one could see.

"i-im home" a weak smile on her face. My knees threatened to cave in, I held back my tears.

"is it- really you?" I stutter still in shock. Sae-byeok didn't answer only opened her arms indicating she wanted a hug which of course I accepted. Jumping into her arms, feeling her warm breath against my neck and her arms tightly wrapped around me, I could no longer hold back my tears and instantly breakdown.

We both lower to the ground still tight in each other hold, Sae-byeok started to whisper in my ear.

"I'm home now, it's ok" Her voice was soothing and calm yet had a hint of grief and denial. I wanted to ask her what happened so badly, why she was gone for so long with no contact but I didn't think that now was the best time.

She pulled away from the hug and brought us both inside, once under better lighting I got a better look at her. Her face and arms were covered in scars and bruised, she was slightly hunched over.

Sae-byeok looked as if she was about to say something but before she could I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the bathroom.

"Take your shirt off," I say trying my best to keep my tone as soft as possible as she still seemed shaken up from where ever she was, I walk to the cabinet to grab a fist aid kit but Sae-byeok must not have noticed that.

"Y/n, really I just got home?" I turn to her in confusion, first aid kit in my hands. she looks at it and replies with a simple oh.

Once Sae-byeok was all cleaned up and I helped her treat her cuts and bruises we cuddled up in bed together. She held me close to her like if she let go I might disappear or something but I didn't question it I was just so happy to have her home.
