Dinner Party ~ Sae-byeok

Y/n pov-

Looking in the mirror, I fix my hair and apply a bit more mascara. I was wearing a short black dress with puffed lace sleeves, paired with some black heels and a half up half down hairstyle.

"Sae, hurry up we are going to be late" I call out, Gi-hun had invited us to a fancy dinner party and we were told to wear formal outfits. "Sae finally walks out of the bathroom showing me her outfit and when I tell you I had never seen something as hot as this, like dammmn. I got lucky with this girl. I bite my lip and my eyes trail up and down her body, she was wearing a black silk top paired with black formal pants, boots and a blazer that she was yet to put on.

"Take a picture it will last longer" She teases, I roll my eyes then look back at the mirror. Her warm arms wrap around my waist as she places light kisses on my neck. "You don't look too bad yourself baby. You sure we have to go to this party" I push her off me and turn to look at her face "We are not bailing on this party so keep it in your pants, we leave in 5" I say and walk away. 

At the party-

I had never been to a fancy dinner before, we were all seated at a large table; the entree had been brought out and everyone was having a lot of fun. Sipping on champaign and snacking at the bits of food scattered along with the table, I was in an interesting conversation with Gi-hun about his job, I wasn't really sure what he was talking about but I just nod my head and replied with the occasional "Right" or "Oh yeah"... we've all been there.

I feel a warm hand placed on my thigh but I felt rude if I looked away from Gi-hun when she was talking so instead move my legs away from Sae's hand. I don't know why she was so needy tonight but I wasn't giving in. Sang-Woo had joined the conversation which gave me a chance to make an escape and talk to some other people. 

I spot Ji-Yeong and Ali talking and decide to go over to them. "Hey, how's it going," I ask taking another sip of my drink "Y/n, you're here! Where is Sae-byeok?" Ji-Yeong asks, I look around the room but don't spot her anywhere "You know what that's a great question" I laugh. We start talking about what we have been up to the past couple of weeks and all agree that we need to hang out sometime soon. When Gi-Hun enounces that dinner was ready I was so relieved, all I wanted to do was sit down because these shoes were killing my feet.

"Where did you go?" I whisper to Sae as she takes her seat next to me, "I had to pee" she replies then starts to cut at the meat on her plate, for dinner we were served a large cut of meat and some salad. A large group discussion had started about random stuff people had read in the news and media. I feel Sae's hand on my leg again and give her a death stare "Are you serious, we are with our friends stop it" I whisper yell at her, She chuckles and looks at me "I don't know what you're talking about babe, I'm not doing anything" I roll my eyes and chose to forget about it.

The night went on and the later it got, the more drinks everyone was having although I decided to take it easy on the drinks for many reasons. A. I was driving home. B. seeing me drunk is something else and C. drunk me would probably give into Sae-byeok's teasing and I didn't want that.

Everyone was enjoying karaoke, some singing, others dancing, it was a mess. I was sitting on a chair near the bench, accompanied by the only other person who wasn't drinking... Ali :) "They are animals," I say to him, having to yell a bit to compete with the noise. "Tell me about it", he laughs.

I pull out my phone and record Sae standing on the table as she plays the air guitar to the song, she looked as though she was killing it but I know for a fact that when I show her this tomorrow she won't be as happy as she looks now. Sang-woo and Gi-hun were screaming the lyrics to the song 'carry on wayward son' great song. Ji-Yeong danced around the living room, hitting and running into anything and everything while Sae still had her guitar moment on the table.

Mini time skip-

They were all crashing, laying down in random parts of the room. I'm pretty sure Ji-Yeong had passed out, Sang-woo was still silently singing along to random songs, Gi-hun swaying peacefully to Sang-woo's terrible singing while Sae sat on the couch lipsyncing the words. I walk over to her and wrap her arm around my shoulder, holding her up. "We are gonna head guys," I say, starting to head for the door. "What! noooooo" Sae slurs trying to break free from my grip, doesn't work.

We get to the door and I grab our coats and my handbag. I turn to Ali and ask if he is alright to take Ji-Yeong home, he says it will be fine and that he has her handled and with that I walk out the door and into the car, driving us home.

I kinda throw Sae on the bed while I try to undress her so that she isn't sleeping in such uncomfortable clothes "Yes finally" She cheers clearly getting the wrong idea. I pull the covers over her and place her head on the pillow "Nope, so stop thinking about it" I answer then walk to the kitchen to grab her some water. 

Getting into my PJs I head over to our bed to see Sae fast asleep, I smile then snuggle under the covers, closing my eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep.
