The day had past and night took over the once bright blue sky, it was warm out and Y/n had thought it would be a perfect night to watch the stars. She wasn't wrong. We set up 2 blankets in the backyard, one to lie on and another to snuggle in. The sky was clear with no clouds in sight and the colours fading from bright orange to dark blue,

The sky filled with bright stars, some shining brighter than others but the moon overpowered all of them. The warmth from the blanket at Y/n cuddling up to me brought me much comfort. It was nights like these that truly show me how lucky I got with her, Y/n starts to point out different stars talking about random facts she read in books. I look down at her in amazement. To think I landed such a beauty, she must have realised I was looking at her because she turned her head up to me, a big smile across her face as she giggled.
"What?" she said "You're just... so pretty," I Say still admiring her features under the dim moonlight. She giggles then snuggles up closer to me, my arms wrap around her and pull her as close as I can taking in her sweet aroma that seemed to be intoxicating to me. She smelled of vanilla and peppermint which some would think is an odd mix but I say it's perfect. I rest my head on top of hers taking in a deep breath as I stare up at the stars. I can't imagine what I would do if this was to ever end, I think I would die if something were to happen and ruin my chances of ever having another moment like this with Y/n.
"My dad always had a saying, he would tell it to me every time we were outside on a night like this," She says, rolling over a bit so she can look at the stars.
"He said 'thou art fairer than the evening air Clad in the beauty of a thousand stars'. I never truly understood what he meant by that but it always sounded so fancy so I would always repeat it to myself no matter what" She smiles, her head resting on my arm and her eyes scanning the shinning sky.
This whole night is perfect... Just like her.

ok, so short one but it's 3:30 am, I had to write this though before I forgot the idea. sorry for not posting in ages I really am.
