As the girls and I finished up training for the day, a small conversation was shared between some members while the others pack their things up to go back to the dorms I notice my phone buzzing near my bag. Walking over to see who is contacting me, I notice notifications from multiple social media sites, fans going crazy over something.

Unlocking my phone I quickly go on to Twitter and see a link to an article, clicking on the thing I read the headline.

I take a seat, terrified of how people found this out. I continue to read.

Many fan sightings of the idol and actress in public as well as multiple posts on each other's social media have led fans to suspect a more intimate relationship between the two. With Itzy just reaching its 3-year anniversary at the start of 2022 and the dating ban being taken off the idol is now allowed to date. 

Neither Ho-Yeon nor Y/n has spoken about the matter, and nothing is confirmed nor denied by the two. Fans continue to find more evidence supporting that there is a close relationship between them, the question that lies is how close of a relationship is it.

Fans are unsure of how long the alleged relationship has been going for or when it could have started though dates show the first public interaction between the two was in early 2020, Pictures were also shared after the release of 'Squid game' of Y/n visiting Ho-Yeon on set.

The article continues to go on and on with different facts to support why we would be dating and unfortunately, they are all true. It's not that I don't want the world to know about my relationship it's just in an industry like this for both of us there is always backlash with things like this and I don't want either of us to experience that. 

"Y/n? are you coming?" Yeji asks me, I stare at her confused "I'm sorry, where?" I question, embarrassed that I wasn't listening. "We were going to get some afternoon tea at the cafe downstairs," She tells me, the members all gather at the door, I quickly gather my things and join them "Sure! let's go" I say. Telling myself I would message Ho-Yeon as soon as we sit down.

As we all make our way down Ryujin slowly falls behind us as she looks at something on her phone. "Hey Y/n" she suddenly calls out, I turn around to see her holding her phone out to me and I already know what she will be showing me "what are you going to do?" She questions, and this catches the attention of the other members.

"About what?" Lia asks us, Ryujin passes her phone to her and they all stop in the middle of the hallway to read the article on the phone. The members all know about my relationship, Ho-Yeon would often come to concerts or fan greetings when she had the time, and she and the girls were close friends as well. "You should talk to PDnim, he will tell you the best way to handle it," Yeji says to me. I nod my head as I take it into consideration however I feel I would want to talk to Ho-Yeon about it all first and that's exactly what I tell the girls.

After hanging out at the cafe for a bit we all say our goodbyes, I get my manager to take me to Ho-Yeon's house, she had the day off today so I know she is home. 

As soon as I knocked on the door she answered it instantly, without saying a word to me she pulls me into a tight hug. "Have you seen social media?" She whispers to me, taking my hand and bringing me inside. "Yeah I have" I sigh, taking a seat on her couch "I'm so sorry, I should have been more careful. I don't want this to affect you or your members" She apologises, worry and concern masking her voice.

I take her hands and look her in the eyes, "please don't apologise, you didn't do anything wrong. I'm allowed to date it won't get me in trouble, it may cause a few complications but that is nothing that we can't work through ok?" I comfort her, I don't want her to think anything bad will happen, nothing bad should happen. 

I bring Ho-Yeon into my arms and lay us on the couch "I've got to hand it to our fans though, to uncover as much as they did... I'm impressed" I joke, Ho-Yeon playfully slaps my arm, a soft giggle following after. 

"So it's going to be ok?" She asks me "I promise, it's all going to be just fine" I tighten my grip around her, basking in her company after a hard day.

I'm not too sure what is going to happen now but regardless I don't regret a thing.

Not too long of a chapter ... I'm living for Itzy right now and omg they are releasing a new album and I already pr-ordered the limited edition album I'm so excited for the release!!!!
