Ho-Yeon pov-

"Why don't you just ask her, you have liked her for like a year now," Jennie tells me "I doubt she even knows who I am" I take a seat next to her, grabbing my textbooks and scattering them out on the table. We had a massive test coming up so me and Jennie decided to study together in the library. "Well maybe she does notice you and likes you as well" Jennie continues.

I had liked Y/n since I first met her, she is in a few of my classes but I have never been brave enough to talk to her so instead I would always just sit in the back of the class while I quietly watched her talk to friends, laughing and having fun. Jennie was the only person who I knew I liked Y/n, Jennie and Yn talk here and there but not a lot more than me and she does though. Y/n was known by everyone in the school and everyone wanted to be with her, I mean who wouldn't she's kind, caring, smart, funny, sporty, she has it all.

Jennie was looking around the library as if she was looking for something or someone "I will be right back I uh forgot a textbook" She quickly stands up and runs off behind some bookshelves. I don't think much of it and dive into my work, copying down some notes and examples. The table vibrates slightly as Jennie's phone goes off, it was a call from her mum. I pick the phone up and quickly walk in the same direction I saw Jennie walk to.

"I promise she likes you too, she won't shut up about you" I heard a voice from the other side of a bookshelf "I don't know Jennie" Was that Y/n? "Come on, you like her and she likes you so just go for it" Jennie tries to persuade her. I lean my head closer, forgetting about Jennie's ringing phone. "But what if she says no?" Who were they talking about? "Y/n, Ho-Yeon is like obsessed with you, she isn't going to say no" hold up, she likes me! I lean against the books too much cause them to move and the books on the other side to either move or drop, one hitting Y/n on the head (They are sitting on the floor).

Jennie stands up and looks around the shelf to see me eavesdropping on their conversation "Ho-Yeon! heyyyyy" She tries to play it off "What!" Y/n yells, a 'shhhhh' coming from the font desk implying for us to shut up. Y/n quickly runs to where Jennie is standing, "umm- your phone was uh ringing" I hand Jennie her phone then speed walk back to my table.

God this was awkward and I think my walking off only made it worse "Why did you walk away!?" Jennie was just as confused as I was, I wasn't sure why I fled "I-" "Go to her! before it's too late" Jennie hypes me up. I try my best to build up as much confidence as I can and begin to walk over to where I saw Y/n sitting with Jennie. She was kneeling close to the ground picking up the books I had accidentally pushed off. 

"Let me help you with that" I kneel down next to her and pick up the few books that were left on the ground "Thanks" "Well I was the one who pushed them off so I should be cleaning them anyway" I nervously chuckled "How much of that conversation did you hear" She nervously asks "All of it" I lower my head, scared of what was going to happen next. "great" She sighs "So, do you really like me back," She asks. 

I lift my head and look at her before quickly nodding my head "Well in that case... how about we go out for like coffee or a movie sometime?" I was shocked, the Y/n Y/l/n just asked me out, the same girl that could literally pick any girl or boy in this school picked me. "Really? of course!" I smile, she hands me a piece of paper with her number on it then picks her stuff up and exits the library. I run back offer to Jennie "So?" She waits for me to tell her what happened "We are going on a date!" I squeal, earning another 'shhh' from the librarian.

Bitch, oh well I have a date so that old lady can suck it.
