Y/n pov-

5 years... its hard to think that it's been so long since escaping those murderous games. Despite the games almost leading me to my death it was also the place where I met my wondrous friends and my stunning girlfriend Kang Sae-byeok. She is everything to me, she's my better half, the light of my life and I know how cliche that all sounds but it's true I wouldn't be where I am today without her.

"Babe I'm home" Hearing her voice brings me such delight, I run down the stairs as fast as I can and jump onto her arms almost causing us to tumble over but she manages to stable herself. 

"Hey, sorry I'm home so late Ji-Yeong was helping me with something" Here's the thing I know Sae would never cheat but she has been spending an awful lot of time with Ji-Yeong in the past couple of weeks. I'm trying my best to ignore it and not say anything because I do not wish to spark up any fight.

"It's ok, your home now so we can finally watch our movie," I say dragging her to the lounge room with a large grin on my face. 

We both get comfy and begin the movie, my head was resting on top of Sae's chest. We were both wrapped up in the same blanket and we had the fireplace on since it was beginning to get colder outside as the weather changed.

I look up at Sae-byeok taking in her charming features, she seems really invested in the movie. Life was great ever since the games, sure it took some time to get over the horrific events that took place but you and Sae-byeok were with each other the whole way.

The movie is about to get to the best part The kiss scene, I'm a sucker for romance movies and Sae knew that but right before they kiss...

Sae pauses the movie and leans over to grab her phone. The caller read 'Ji-Yeong' and I silently groan to myself tossing my head back.

"Really!? ok, I will come down now" Sae-byeok squealed in excitement, jumping up to grab her shoes.

"Where are you going?" my voice cracked a little 'was she really ditching me to see Ji-Yeong right now?' 

"Babe I'm so sorry I need to go but meet me at our spot in like 15 min ok?" She said but before I could answer she was already out the door.

I sigh, picking myself up and walking over to our bedroom. 

"15 min" I repeat to myself "god whatever it is it better be worth it Kang Sae-byeok" I change into warmer clothes and make myself a cup of tea to pass the time.

mini time skip-

I was walking to 'our spot' like Sae had told me to, it wasn't far from our house and I didn't feel like driving at the time which was clearly a mistake as my face was slowly turning a bright pink due to the cold. Small bits of snow was falling down, it was rather beautiful if you ask me I just wish Sae-byeok was here with me.

I finally make it to our spot which is just an abandoned park near our home, now when I say abandon doesn't mean the old creepy parks you find clowns at I mean that no one really goes here, the greenery was breathtaking even during the colder weather and always calmed you no matter what the situation.

You walk a bit further and are met with a lovely setup, Fairylights set up in the trees, pictures hanging down everywhere, picnic rugs set on the ground and Sae-byeok standing in the middle of it all.

"Sae.. what is all of this," I say in absolute astonishment, as I walk closer looking at all the pictures they show all the photos we had taken with each other throughout the years... Our first date, Where we had our first kiss, us buying our house together, us with Cheol, it was all here.

"Y/n, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me," Sae speaks before kneeling down on one knee.

'HOLY SHIT, IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING'  

My heart rate felt like it was going at 5000000 beats per second, my hands got a little sweaty and my face was burning up.

"Since the day that I met you, I knew you were special. No matter the situation you always managed to bring a smile to everybody's face, helping guide me through all my dark times. These past 5 years with you have been like living a fairytale, it is truly a dream come true. When I look at how excited you get over the snow or how much happiness it brings you to do silly little activities with me I can't help but fall more in love with you. You and I have been through so much together and multiple times almost losing each other as well and I don't ever want to feel as I will lose you again so... Y/n Y/l/n will you marry me?" could see tears forming in Sae's eyes.

"is that even a question? YES!!!" I say running up to her as she stands up, pulling her into another warm hug. She pulls away from the hug and kisses my lips, it was passionate and loving, I felt as if I could stay in this moment forever. To my disappointment, Sae pulled away from the kiss with a grin on her face.

"SHE SAID YES BITCHES" She shouts casting her hands in the air, All of our friends jump out of the nearby bushes yelling, screaming and cheering for us. Everyone was here Ji-Yeong, Ali, Gi-hun and even Mi-nyeo.

Sae slides the ring onto my finger and whispers in my ear "perfect fit" before pulling me into another passionate kiss. I was overfilled with joy, part of me wanted to jump up and down and scream.

I get to marry the woman of my dreams...

How is this, I kinda love it kinda don't but oh well. Please leave more requests to cause this was so fun to write.
