Post-Time Skip - 3 Years Later
It's been exactly three years since then. Both you and Baji have matured. Not to mention Chifuyu as well. He seemed to act like a total delinquent three years ago. Now, he's a sweet baby. Though, looks are most definitely deceiving.

Every morning for school both you and Baji would wake up at the same time, text each other 'good morning', race to get ready and meet each other outside the others house. It depends on who gets ready first. If you both meet at the same time, then it'll be passed as a tie.

This morning it was a tie. It's been a tie for a while, which peaked your nerve a bit. One time you woke up an hour earlier just to beat him since he had a winning streak and was getting cocky.

A humbling experience never hurts anybody. Even if you had to pull a few strings to get there.

You both would then race to the stop sign at the end of the road, then walk to Chifuyu's house. Then you would walk to school together, pushing each other around and talking about assignments.

"We have a pop quiz today, don't we?" Chifuyu asked, looking to you and Baji.
"We do?" You and Baji ask, not remembering a moment where any of your teachers mentioned having a pop quiz.
"Yes, in math." Chifuyu said nonchalantly.

You and Baji share a look of confusion, which then fades to disappointment and pleading eyes. "You'll help us; right?"

Chifuyu rolled his eyes. "Don't I always have to?"

It was the typical life for you three. Chifuyu would always keep track of upcoming events while you and Baji would normally forget.

You looked at your phone, noticing it was almost time for first classes to start. "How about a race?" You suggested, catching both the boys attention.

"Sure. What's the bet?" Chifuyu asked.

"Whoever gets to school last has to pay for the others' yakisoba." You smirked. Baji's eyes lit up, a grin growing. Chifuyu smiled. "Alright."

Chifuyu was clearly first. Then, there was you and Baji, who came at the same time. "I guess we have to pay for our own." You shrugged.

Chifuyu chuckled, "Sure, but c'mon, we gotta get to class." He said, beginning to walk to the hallways.

"I want a rematch after school!" Baji said in a panting voice, seeming to struggle with catching his breath.
You sighed, rolling your eyes at his competitive nature. "Kei, come on."

A while after your last period, there was no telling where Baji and Chifuyu were. Literally. You asked almost anybody who knew Baji and Chifuyu, but they had no idea where they were.

You waited for a while, unsure if they went home without you or not. And if they did, it was a dick move. It got to the point where you saw teachers beginning to leave, and the school getting way too empty to not be able to find Baji and Chifuyu. Not only that, but you had to tell your mom you were going to be staying after school, to "study". While neither Baji or Chifuyu studied often, with your persuasion, you could get them to stay after for at least thirty minutes.

Which was ironic, considering half the time you forget there was anything to study for.

Though, you made the reluctant decision to wait, hoping they'd pop up from some sort of detention or from being detained in the principal's office for whatever reason this time.
