' 𝟿: Emotions '

After everybody finally got sorted out, which included Mitsuya's sisters, you were able to relax for a while.

Though, to your surprise, Draken dragged you outside after laying Mikey somewhere since he'd fallen asleep.

"Ryu! If you needed to talk about something you coulda just said that!" You pouted as he let go of you.

"Tell me honestly, do you think Baji's interested in you?" He questioned.
You paused for a moment before answering. "What? Of course not." You rolled your eyes. "Why would he be?"

"Nothing, just had a theory and wanted to test it. That's all." He said as he walked back into the house. About an hour later of him seeming to concentrated about something, he dragged Baji outside as well.

But, of course, he kept yelling instead of focusing on the question. Draken peaked his head back into the house, "Y/N, come control your dog."

You rolled your eyes as you got up, walking outside. You hit Baji's head, getting his attention. Grabbing his ear, you pulled it. "Hush, you problematic teenager."

"Okay, okay! Let go!-" he whined.
You let go, "Now behave."

After a 'Talk'

You watched Draken walk back into the room, Baji following behind him and seeming some kind of embarrassed. He was clenching his jaw and you could tell.

"Kei, you alright?" You questioned him.
He looked at you and nodded, "I'm fine."
Red flag.
"We just had a simple talk." He smiled.
Big red flag.
"Keisuke." You said sternly. He looked at you the way he'd look at his mom after he had gotten in trouble for some reason. You could swear you saw him wince at the use of his name paired with your tone.
"..Yes?"
"What's wrong?" You pushed.
"Nothing." He insisted.
You stood, "Liar!"
"I'm not lying, I'm fine!" He argued.

Mitsuya hurried his sisters out the room and outside, giving them a bit of money to go and get ice cream for themselves. He didn't like them being around arguments.

By the time he came back, he found Chifuyu holding you back and Baji with his hand over his face, slightly trembling. He was shocked. Not mad, not upset, nor angry or sad in the slightest. Just shocked.

You had hit him - out of a fit of anger, admittedly, but still. "You know I hate it when you lie to me.. why would you lie? Why not let me help you?"
Baji sighed, removing his hand from his stinging face. "It's not something you'd be able to help with."
"Well at least let me fucking try, Baji!" You yelled, still fighting from Chifuyu's grip. You looked at Draken, who was on his phone as if he didn't hear the commotion going on. "What'd you do to him?" You questioned him.
He looked up from his phone, "What?"
"What'd you do?! Does this have something to do with the question you'd asked me earlier?"
"I didn't do anything.." he sighed, rolling his eyes.
"I dunno." Draken said simply with yet another sigh.

"Draken, what the fuck." You sighed, looking at him. Under that calm, caught up exterior, you could hear his heart, beating out of his chest like theirs no tomorrow.

You were always emotional when it came to ensuring Baji was okay. As much as he tried to protect you, you couldn't help but want to keep him safe. Whether it is physically, emotionally or mentally. You could tell his emotions were rattled, his thoughts everywhere.

He didn't seem hurt before you'd slapped him, so you guessed he was fine. You turned to Chifuyu, "He's not okay, something happened. I know it." You whispered. More likely than not, Mitsuya heard.

Chifuyu gave you a certain look. Questioning, yet believing, yet accusing all in one. Whenever something didn't feel right to you, it was overall wrong. Your instincts were too strong to be denied.

"Y/N, can I have a word?" Mitsuya called to you, suggesting you walk with him. Following him outside, he asked your thoughts about Baji in the current situation.

"'Suya, he's not okay. Draken said something to him and for some fucking reason, it affected him badly. He's not somebody to just care about whatever somebody else says so why the hell—"
Mitsuya cut you off, "I know. I see it too." He reassured you, watching as tears slowly fell from your eyes. He stood, helping you up and hugging you. "You love him, don't you?" He asked, looking at you. He could tell you did, and it wasn't a secret either. "That's probably the only reason he was like that." He explained, smiling down at you, "Knowing how straightforward Draken is, and how stubborn Baji is, they probably had to get through some hardships."

You looked at Mitsuya, your eyes covered in a soft gloss. "However, I can't say he feels the same for you. There's no reason to doubt it though."

You laid your head on his shoulder, emotions overwhelming you. You noticed your breathing was off, and so you took the time to try and get a hold of it, focusing on what's around you.

Song birds chirping, the sound of leaves from the trees blowing in the air. Mitsuya's heart beating calmly, his breathing following suit. The sweet scent of lavender, comforting and soft.

And before you knew it, you blacked out. The last thing you remember hearing was Mitsuya's laugh, and him calling for Baji to lay you somewhere to sleep.

Draken chuckling and Baji sighing, his heart beat fast and breathing steady.

Narrators POV

Baji walked back from the room he had lay Y/N in. "Funny how she went as far as to hit you." Draken chuckled to himself, Baji groaning at his statement.

"Emotions aren't something to play with you two." Mitsuya sighed, reading the room, looking at the two, "Especially hers. The fact that she immediately knew something was up with Baji the moment he walked in the room is not only something to watch out for, but to worry about."

"What're you gettin' at, Mr. Therapist?" Baji joked, not taking the situation as seriously as Mitsuya intended.

"Depending on how quickly she figured Baji out, she probably saw through our plan like glass." He explained further, "What you just did? It fucked her up. Badly. There's a possibility she wouldn't trust you anymore." He looked to Baji specifically. "And if she for some reason doesn't already know this was planned and finds out? You're in for a ride."

Baji stared at Mitsuya. Draken was just as surprised.

"Did I miss something? It's not like she has trust issues?" Baji said, brushing Mitsuya's words off like they were nothing.

"This will most definitely cause her to develop them, though."

"Shit. I fucked up, didn't I?" Baji and Draken spoke simultaneously.
