The class unloaded the bus and headed inside the building, it was massive and built on top of a mountain. There were innumerable rooms, all of them with an unknown purpose. Rya groggily walked in with Sato and her brother following behind. Why did they come out here? Why so far away?
The inside looked like it hadn't seen a visitor in years, cobwebs and dust covered the place. The furniture was covered up by sheets and when the lights were turned on, the flickered a bit. The common area was large with long windows that took up the majority of one wall to give them a beautiful view.

"This will be your new dormitories until UA is powered up. Dorm rooms are down that hallway and...you get to clean this place and make it home." Aizawa told them. The class moaned, most of them were tired and wanted to sleep. What did they do to deserve this?

The class started cleaning their new rooms of dust and spiders, the uncovered the furniture and scrubbed the floors. By the time they finished, it was three in the morning. Aizawa and the other teachers retired to their own rooms while the rest of the class did the same. Rya jumped in the shower to scrub all of the dirt and grime off of her, why were they told to do all of this? Was this a distraction? Even though her brother told her not to question them, she couldn't help thinking there was something more going on. She tied her hair up in a messy bun and hopped into her onesie. Her stomach growled, she hadn't had anything all day. She marched to the kitchen to see Sato making himself at home, cooking something that smelled delicious.

"You read my mind. I was about to make something too." She smiled, sitting on the counter. He glanced back at her and laughed, she lived in that cat onesie.

"Cats aren't allowed to be fed people food." He teased.

"But...Mew?" She looked at him with big eyes and held her hands up like they were paws. He snorted out a laugh and brought over the spoon he was cooking with, "Try that. Tell me how it tastes."

She sipped the broth and her face lit up, "oooh, is that Nabe?" She asked.

"Yeah, thought I'd make it since the night is so cold."

"It's yummy."

"I'm glad you like it. You can have some when I'm finished."

"I appreciate it, do you need any help?" She asked.

"Sure, you can stir it while I chop everything."

"Okay." She took the spoon and stirred what was already in the pot. "Do you think it's odd that we're way up here?" She asked.

"Aizawa and the teachers take us to lots of places for training. Maybe they saw this as an opportunity to take us here and train." He replied.

"Maybe..." she shrugged and looked at Sato, it wasn't everyday she saw a man in the kitchen actually knowing what they were doing. He looked like he was in his element as he sprinkled in spices and checked every ingredient. Cooking was what he loved to do. He glanced up and saw her staring at him, "What?"

"Nothing." She snapped out of it and concentrated on the food. He chuckled and approached her, "Nothing?" He asked.

"Yeah." She said looking up at him.

"Every time you stare at me, you always have something to say." He was so close. She could see the golden flecks in his deep brown eyes and could smell his scent of vanilla and spices. "You have something on your mind and you want to say it but you don't know how I will react."

"I..." she was still astounded at the fact he was still so close to her, she couldn't think. "...I like watching you cook." She confessed. Her cheeks turned red and he seemed to like her reaction.

"You like watching me cook?" He asked. "What's so interesting about it?" He asked her as he resumed working on dinner. Rya stood dumbfounded by how quick he changed, one moment he was staring her down and dominant and the next as normal as ever. "...I-I don't know. You just look so professional and passionate when you cook." She stirred the broth as Sato finished putting everything in. "I can tell you love cooking."

"I do." He smiled at her. "Do you observe everyone like you do me?"

"Nah. No one is as interesting as you." She teased.

Sato took over the stirring and Rya took out two bowls for them. He shook his head and Rya heard a small laugh escape his lips, "What?" She asked.

"Nothing, it's just...I'm interesting." He said taking the bowls and filling them. "No ones ever told me that before."

"Why not?" She took her bowl and they sat on the couch to eat.

"I don't know...I don't get as much attention like all the other guys do. All the girls show interest in other guys, not me."

"Well, then they're missing out on a pretty cool guy."

Sato was used to being in the background, he never complained. He didn't have a flashy quirk like Shoto or Deku so he accepted the fact that he wouldn't get as much attention. He was okay with that at first but then it was clear to all the girls in UA that Sato would always be just a friend.

"Compared to all the other guys in the class, I'm just plain." He looked at her with a little bit of hurt in his eyes.

"You're not plain at all. You're handsome."

"Thank you." He blushed. "It's nice to finally hear that."

"Someone once told me, if you see something beautiful, name it exactly that." She looked in his eyes to see a glimmer of appreciation. They finished their dinner and Sato washed the dishes while Rya put everything away.

"Ow!" Sato cried as he limped to the couch.

"What happened?" She asked, approaching him.

"Nothing, I think it's a muscle spasm. I've been on my feet all evening."

"Come here." She sat down on the couch, putting his feet in her lap. Sato looked at her strangely. "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like, you're in pain."

"No, Rya. I'm okay, really. You don't have to-" He was rendered speechless when he felt her massage his soles. "Nevermind." He sank into the couch with no more protest.
