It seemed like hours as they spent their time in the hot bubbling water, unwinding from the stressful day. "You want to get out?" He asked.

She shook her head, "No, I'm too comfortable."

"Kitten, we've been in here for over two hours. We have to go to bed some time."

She hugged his neck, "I want to sleep here."

"That's not possible, Rya." He chuckled. "I wish it was."

She hid her face in his chest, not wanting to leave, "I don't want the night to end." She said honestly. Sato couldn't help but hug her tight and kiss her on the top of the head.

"You'll see me tomorrow. We will have a brand new day to spend with eachother."

"Promise?" She asked, feeling his laughter fill his chest.

"I promise. Come on, I think we're getting heat rashes."

"Okay." They stepped out of the hot tub and dried off before heading out. Sato bent down in front of her, "hop on, Kitten."

"Really?" She looked surprised at the gesture.

"Yeah, let me carry you." He told her.

She jumped on his back as he hoisted her up so she was comfortable, he could feel her playing with his soft brown hair as he walked down the hall. She was so sweet, he would've never thought in a million years that he would be feeling a girls fingers in his hair. The little touches she gave him made him feel like he had worth. He felt precious to her, like he meant something to someone finally.

He didn't protest either, she was being her real self with him and he loved every minute of it. "Your room, Milady." He let her down and set her on her feet. She stared up at him for a moment but then tore her gaze from his eyes, knowing he had already caught on. "Thanks, Sato." She reached the door knob but he placed his hand on it, knowing she wanted to say something.

"Talk to me, Kitten. What is it?" He asked.

"I knew I gave myself away." She told him. He smiled at her, holding in a laugh.

"What's on your mind?" He asked.

"...I was going to ask you something but I don't think it's appropriate."

"I'll be the judge of that." He told her.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" She asked before looking down at her feet, waiting for an answer. She was oh so innocent, he melted hearing her question. He lifted her chin to meet her eyes, "We might get in trouble."

"Oh...okay." She reached for the door again but he stopped her when he spoke. "I didn't say no." There it was again, that low brassy voice that gave her chills. She stood there, eyes big, not knowing if he would accept her invitation.

"What would we be doing if I were to stay the night?" He asked.

"Cuddle and sleep. That's it." She shrugged.

"Well, if it's just that then, I have to say yes." He smiled at her. "Let me change and I'll come back."

"Okay." She bit her lip happily. He left her to take a shower and change, Rya did the same. She made the bed to make sure he would be comfy, she shivered even in her onesie. The night was cold and her body couldn't take it.

A knock was heard on the door and she quickly let him in before anyone noticed. "Hey, there's my kitten." He came in kissing her cheek. He wore a plain white tee with silky pajama bottoms. Rya was shivering for another reason now, she though he was cute.

"Are you that cold, sweetie?" He asked.

"Mhmm..." her teeth chattered and she shook almost uncontrollably. He turned down the covers and let her climb in, he followed while taking her up in his arms so she could feel the warmth of his body. He felt her shiver against him as she slowly warmed up.

"I've never seen you so cold. Are you okay?" He asked a little concerned.

"I'm anemic..." she confessed.

"Oh, I had no idea." He hugged her closer. "Did you take a vitamin?" He asked her, feeling her shivering lessen.

"I took it at breakfast."

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" He asked a little worried.

"I was going to when the topic came up."

"When did this happen?" He asked.

"I'm not much of a meat eater. That's why."

"Oh. We'll have to change that. I don't want you shivering like this every night." He threw the blankets over them and turned off the light. He held her close until her shivers subsided.

"Sato?" She spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Yes, Rya?" He said with his eyes closed, ready to sleep.

"Why did you ask what we would be doing if you spent the night?" She asked in a gentle and naive voice.

Sato chucked at her question, "I had to ask because if it were anything more than cuddling and sleeping, I would've gone to my own room."

"I had to ask because I wanted to be a gentleman before I came in. Other guys might have thought of this as an invitation to do more. I just want to respect you."

"Oh." She sank into his frame, feeling safe in his arms as if he were hiding her. "Is this how respect feels?" She asked. Sato didn't know whether to frown or smile at her reply. On one hand it was cute that he was the first guy to ever respect her besides her brother. On the other, it killed him inside that she never felt respected by a guy until now. "How does it feel, Rya?"

"...It feels...sweet and safe. I feel like I can trust you more."

"Yes, kitten. That's how respect feels." He shifted a little on the bed to get comfortable again, holding her by the waist, felicitously.

"Sato?" She spoke again amidst the silence.

"Hmm?"

"Thank you for respecting me." She hugged his arm close to her and they both fell asleep.
