The brother and sister held each other, stunned from the turn of events. Did they hear him right? The judge didn't protest and handed him the papers to sign. Aizawa wrote his name on a few documents and turned to the two terrified kids.

"Get your things, lets go." He told them. They both stood stood and followed their sensei to the car. He drove in silence as he made his way down the street, past UA. They looked a bit confused and looked around, "Where are we going, Mr Aizawa." Mezo asked.

"Im taking you to your parents house so you can get what belongs to you and then let you move into my place." He simply replied.

"Sensei, why are you doing this for us?"

"If I didn't, who would? Besides, I don't like seeing a family being torn apart." He trailed off. "And I don't think I would ever forgive myself if I just let it happen." He glanced at them in the rear view mirror.

"Thank you, Sensei." Rya said with tears in her eyes.

A ghost of a smile hid behind his scarf as he drove down the road to their home. "Get what you absolutely need. The rest I can take care of." He winked to the both if them.

Shoji and Rya opened the doors to their old home, it was strange, it didn't feel like home anymore. It was as if they had broken into a home that wasn't theirs anymore.

"Only the things we really need." He reminded his sister. She walked into her tiny room, looking around. This was a strangers room, this wasn't her anymore. She took her diaries and a couple of articles of clothing that she wanted to keep. Everything else...she didn't need. She headed out the door while her brother was still gathering his things. "You pack light." Aizawa commented as he popped his trunk and placed her things inside.

"I don't need much from this god forsaken place." They both leaned up against the car and Aizawa chuckled at her response.

"Damn right, you don't."

Rya glanced at him, "...So what do we call you outside of school? Now that you're our guardian and all."

"Well names aren't that important but during the summers when you're out of school and have no work studies to perform...you can call me Shota."

"Shota. Never would've guessed."

They both faced the house while leaning against his car in silence for a moment until Rya suddenly hugged him again. "I hope there's no rules on hugs." She said.

"Not for you." He hugged her back.

"You know, I can't thank you enough, right?"

"It's okay." They broke their embrace and spotted Mezo coming out of the house with his things.

"Ready?" Aizawa asked.

"I think so."

"Okay, lets get out of here." Sensei took his things and put them in the trunk with Rya's belongings and they were off to Shota's home. It took him about ten minutes to pull up to an apartment complex. He helped them bring their things inside his loft, setting their belongings upon the sectional couch. "Home sweet home." He said closing the door behind him.

"This is your home?" Rya asked, hearing her voice echo a little.

"Yeah. Mezo i hope you're not allergic to cats."

"No, not at all, why?"

"Figaro!" Rya stooped down to greet the tiny kitten. Aizawa stood back and smiled.

"I have a few cats that live with me."

"Wait, there's more?" Rya stood up. Aizawa sounded a high pitched whistle from his lips and four more cats came flocking to him.
