Sato knew that Ryas tears needed to fall, there was only so much someone could hold in. He rubbed her back in small circles as she cried for a moment, she clenched her fists as another memory flooded her brain...
"Fatty, Rye Rye!" A group of students came towards her with sticks. Rya was about to walk home from her old school. "Fatty Rye Rye!" She tried to ignore it, she just kept walking down the road towards her house. Her older brother had already moved up a grade last year, leaving her defenseless. She looked back at them to see how close they were and there in the middle of the little gang was Manoma. "Get her!" He cried as they chased her down the road. Her little heart raced as she ran as fast as she could down the road. She could hear them getting closer and then it happened, they whacked at her legs repeatedly until she fell to the street. She covered her head and cried uncontrollably as they bruised her and gave her welts.
"Cry baby Rye! Get up and fight!" Manoma shouted, cracking the stick he had against her head. She had had enough, she struggled to get up, standing and pushing Manoma down with as much force as she could give. Manomas eyes went wide as he lost balance and fell onto the hood of a moving car. She gasped along with all the others that had joined in on the beating. They all looked at her with hateful stares, "Whats the matter with you, weirdo?" One of them said. The group shouted at her and called her names, She ran from the scene, hearing them chase after her all the way home.
"Rya...Rya?" Sato brought her out of her flashback. "You're okay." He reassured her. Rya almost jumped from his embrace and wiped her eyes, "I'm sorry...I have to go."
"Rya, wait-" before he could catch her, she had already made her way half way down the hall. He sighed and shook his head, getting her to talk about those memories were going to be much harder than he thought. He stood to leave the living room but spotted Mezo standing in the hallway.
"Listen, I have no bad intentions with your sister."
"I know you don't." He approached him. "I'm sorry for what I suspected of you on the bus earlier. Seeing you with her just now, I see you really care for her."
"I do, but I-"
"Rya won't let anyone close to what she's been through. She's told me a little but it pales in comparison to what she's been holding in. I wish she would just open up."
"Me too, I can't help her if she keeps everything in."
"Yeah, I understand."
it was time for the whole class to wake up. Aizawa and the other teachers came out of their rooms and started breakfast for everyone. Rya, Mezo and Sato stayed in bed, not wanting to socialize with anyone.
"We're missing three of our students, Shota." All Might told him.
"Leave them be, they had a hard night last night." He said. It was to be expected that Aizawa knew everything that went on with his students. He had his ways to know what his class was dealing with.
"What are we going to do about the lesson today?" He asked him.
"I'll figure something out." Shota replied. "Right now, we'll just let them eat."
The class talked while the teachers thought up a lesson plan. All of this moving up into the mountains was so spur of the moment. It was unplanned and the teachers couldn't tell their class why they were so far away.
"Whoa! I didn't know Crimson Riot had a daughter!" Kirishima saw the article on his phone, reading it."
"No way, is there a picture?" Mina asked.
"No, sounds like they have been hiding her. They've kept her away from the media and everything."
"Wow, that's weird. You mean she's not allowed to go out with her Dad?" Mina asked. She looked over at All Might, "You know all the heroes, All Might. You must know who she is."
"Crimson Riot and I have never had the opportunity to talk to each-other face to face. We travel in different circles. I have no doubt that he has a family."
"Do you have a family, All Might?" Kiri asked.
"No, it's just me." He replied.
"No, you have us. We're your family." Mina told him. All Might felt touched by her words. She stood up to give him a thankful hug.
"That's so very nice of you to say Mina."
Present Mic stood in front of the class and announced their training activities for the day, "okay, class. You'll have english with me in the next room and then Aizawa will be doing his training with you outside."
"What are we going to be doing?" Iida asked his teacher.
"Aizawa will tell you when it's time."
"What about Rya? She'll miss the lesson." Momo spoke up.
"Don't worry about Rya or anyone else. Just finish your breakfast and meet me in the other room when you're done." He replied.
The class did as he said, meeting him in the back room to have English class.
Aizawa took a plate of breakfast he had made and walked down the hallway to Ryas room, knocking on the door. "Rya, it's Mr Aizawa. I brought you breakfast."
She opened the door for Shota to see her in her adorable cat onesie, he was about to compliment her on her choice of outfits but saw her red and puffy face. "What's the matter?" Of course he already knew but he asked to keep her unaware.
"Nothing. Just a rough night." She said quietly. "I'm not hungry, thank you though.
