"This is ridiculous." Mezo brought a tool box from the janitors closet and set it in front of Momo. "Can't you just produce another control panel?"

"If I knew what model it was, yes. But I don't and I'm determined to get this up and running." She said a little annoyed. Mezo paced the room, not at all liking the turn of events. "Momo, I appreciate the gesture but, this is making me even more stressed out."

"Yeah well, you're stressing me out too." She fiddled with the control box until it sparked, something clicked on and steam stared to slowly heat up the little room. "Yes." She smiled.

"You got it working?" He asked, looking into the room. "Oh shit, yes."

Momo took off her shirt to reveal her black bra and the shorts she had on were perfect for the hot room. Mezo turned red and looked away, "What?" She asked.

"You're in your bra."

"You've seen me like this in battle before, you're not used to it?"

"No, I'm not."

"Just get in here, it's already hot." She walked inside and sat. Shoji shook his head, taking off his shirt and walking in, he sat beside her feeling the heat relax him already.

"You're welcome." She chuckled seeing Mezo's middle finger in her face. "Feeling any better?" She asked.

"Shut up." He laughed out.

"You hate it when I'm right." Momo playfully pushed him. They both sighed and sat there in silence for a second. She wanted to speak to him but thought that If she did, it would ruin his decompressing.

"I wonder if Rya is still asleep." He muttered.

"We're not here to talk about Rya. You're here to sit and soak up the heat, do nothing." She looked at him.

"I know, I'm the only one she has and even that seems like it isn't enough for her to tell me what she's been through." He blurted out.

"She what?" Momo looked at him a little surprised. No wonder he was so stressed out. "She's never told you what she's been dealing with? What do you mean?"

"...it's nothing." He rubbed his now sweaty face. "I shouldn't have said any thing."

"Shoji. You look like you need to talk to someone, whatever Rya is holding in, it could be something bad." She worried. "Tell me what you know."

"Like you would know-"

"I'm a girl I can probably fill in some of the blanks that you've missed. I promise nothing will be said outside this room." She looked at him with concern. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Rya was bullied a lot in school. She was teased because she wasn't as skinny as everyone else and she didn't develop her quirk until she was ten. She attended a local school with me until she got into a fight with Manoma and pushed him in front of a car. My parents thought it would be best for her to have a fresh start at a private boarding school for boys and girls. She just recently told me that Manoma had been at the school too."

"Where were you when the incident happened?"

"I moved up a grade, I wasn't able to protect her anymore." His face wore an expression of guilt. "She recently told me that Manoma changed schools too, that's how the teasing continued. That's all she will tell me, I know they've called her names like, Fatty Rye Rye, Cry baby Rye, but she won't tell me what they've done to her. She'll only tell me half of the story."

"Sounds like there was more than name calling going on, didn't Manoma hit her when the storm hit?"

He clenched his fists until his knuckles were white, "He better never come near her again."

"Shoji, Rya has been abused. She never had anyone to call a friend until now, it's no surprise that she is keeping everything inside. She's with so many new people and that's intimidating, she's been without friends for so long that she doesn't know how to talk to them-"

"But I'm her brother!" He snapped. Momo jumped back, his voice echoing in the sauna. "Why can't she tell me what's going on? We've taken care of each other for so long, why wont she talk to me?"

"Maybe it's because she respects you too much. Maybe she thinks that if she opens up, you'll be ashamed of her."

"No, she knows I love her. She knows I would do anything to protect her."

"Thats the thing isn't it? The more you love someone, the crazier the lengths you'll go to keep them happy." She laid a hand on his shoulder. "She's trying to keep you from worrying about her."

"It's doing the complete opposite."
🚨🚨🚨
Rya walked fast down the halls, hoping to get to her dorm room. The poor thing stayed by herself, no one wanted to be around her. She kept her head down and tried to make her way to her room as quiet as possible.

"Rya." She heard a taunting voice from behind her. She rushed down the halls, twisting and turning, trying to lose Manoma and his posse. "Rya!" His voice sounded closer, she ran through the halls. It was no use getting to her room, he was too close by and who knew how many friends he had with him.

"Cry baby, Rya!" He shouted, clapping a hand on her shoulder. She freaked, turning around and slapping him across the face. She looked at the irate face he made, feeling the pain that swelled in his cheek. "Oh God." She bolted through the halls to get to her room. She didn't mean it, she just wanted to be left alone, why wouldn't he just leave her alone! She reached her doorknob and quickly opened her door and slammed it shut. She could hear him beating on the door, cursing at her as she sat against it crying her eyes out. After a few hours of silence, she opened the door to see if the coast was clear. There was no one in the halls, everything was quiet and still. She sighed a bit of relief, walking the halls to make sure he wasn't lurking about.

Manoma and his friends would often scratch and whisper at her door to terrorize her during the night, she wanted to put a stop to it. She was tired of being afraid.

"...Rya..." a whisper escaped the air and she turned around to see Manomas silhouette. She shook with pure fear as he approached her.

"Why do you hate me so much?" She asked.

"Because, you simply enrage me when I look at you. You are a poor excuse for a girl and your lack of using your quirk makes you a coward." He slapped her, exactly like she did to him. She gasped and narrowed her eyes, getting furious.

"Why did you follow me to this school?!"

"Follow you? Is that what you think I did?" He smacked her again, forcing her to the floor. "I hate you, that's why!" He looked down at her, such a weak little thing. What a useless person, why was she even created? "That's right, cry. That's all you're ever good for." He kicked her in the stomach.

This was it, there was no turning back from this. She activated her quirk, with a flick of her hand he was thrown to the other end of the hallway. He struggled to get up but once he regained his footing, he ran towards her with a grin on his face.

"You shouldn't have let me touch you, idiot." He levitated her in the air, slamming her into walls and dragging her along the floor. He wouldn't stop, he was so strong.

A scream escaped her mouth, alerting Sato from his sleep. When she realized she wasn't in her dream anymore, she breathed heavily in a panic.

"Rya? Rya are you okay?" He asked outside the door. He could hear her hyperventilating. He opened the door to see a scared Rya curled up in a ball, wide eyed on her bed. His heart lurched from his chest seeing her.

"Rya, I'm here." He knelt down in front of her, stroking her hair. "It's okay. It was a nightmare." He spoke softly.

She closed her eyes, tears falling onto her cheeks. She refused to say anything. She looked at Sato who looked so concerned for her, Mezo who would do anything for her and the whole class that had welcomed her with open arms. She didn't want to let out what she was feeling, what would they think of her if she did?

"Talk to me, Rya. Please." He stared at her with pleading eyes. "I care for you too much to let you keep living like this."
