"Feeling any better?" She asked.

"Hmm?" Her words didn't even register in his head, he was just so comfortable. Rya laughed at his reaction and carried on, "Yeah, I'm feeling better."

"There he is, he's back from space." She joked.

"Are you a magician?" He asked her, still too relaxed to move.

"Nope, just saw my good friend in need. That's all."

Sato found the strength to sit up and look at her face, "earlier, you Called me handsome."

"I did." She replied without hesitation.

"What makes me so handsome? I'm curious."

"I see what we're about to do." She giggled. "You are caring, the first time you talked to me you were immediately interested in why I was upset. All Might sent you there to take me to class but you tried to find the root of my problem. Only someone who cares does that with someone they just met."

Sato listened to her, he loved the sound of her voice. It was clean from all dishonesty and unfiltered. He could tell by how easy it was for her to speak about him, she was telling him the truth.

"You have an awesome quirk. I wish I had that. Then I could eat all the junk food I wanted and not get a single cavity."

"It's not that great." He looked down at her hands, still massaging his feet. "It's nothing like yours. To move any object you want. That's amazing."

"It's only amazing when you have control of your emotions. I don't know how to do that."

"You're in the right place to learn."

Rya thought of another quality that Sato had, "you know how to encourage people. Ever since I met you, you never quit telling me how pretty I am."

"That's because it's true." He admired her for a moment before speaking again. "I've noticed that you haven't listed anything physically attractive about me." He said.

"You're handsome on the inside too, you know. But if you want me to, I'll keep going."

"Sure."

"Your eyes remind me of the pyramids of Giza. When the light hits your eyes, they're golden. It's pretty to look at."

Rya finished her treatment on his aching feet and sat to face him.

"I've never noticed, but you have freckles." She poked his cheeks. "That's so cute." Satos cheeks turned red and he giggled, taking her hands from his face.

"Your tall and large like a bear, you probably give the best hugs. You seem like you'd wrap around them like a burrito."
Sato busted out laughing at her remark, "Come here, let's see." He opened his arms and she didn't hesitate hugging him . His arms wrapped around her like a protective blanket. "I was right...Jesus, you're warm!"

"Yeah, my family always says I'm like a human heater." He let go of her to see her face, she didn't want to leave his arms.

"I wish I was that warm, I wouldn't have to wear my onesie."

"It's probably because of my weight. One thing my quirk can't change all the way." He said a little insecure.

"there's nothing wrong with your weight. Some girls like their guys with a bit of fluff."

"Hahaha! Fluff? I'm fluffy? Why would they want a fluffy guy?"

"Because they're soft and comfy, they make the best cuddle buddies."

"Really?" He smirked. " I didn't know that."

"That's why you're handsome, Sato."

"I needed to hear that." He gave her a grateful smile. "Thanks, Rya."

"No problem." She pondered something. "Tell me why I'm so beautiful." She said.

"Where do I start?" He chuckled. "You're a sweetheart, you make people you hardly met breakfast and you massage my feet like it's no big deal."

She chuckled listening to him.  "You speak your mind. I don't think you have a dishonest bone in your body." He saw her trying not to smile at his little comments. "You sing like an angel, your hair is the color of the sky...Don't get me started on your eyes." He looked at her and she hid her face from him.

"They're not that pretty." She told him.

"Are you kidding?" He took her hands from her face to admire her irises. "You're eyes stop men in their tracks, they're so bright and mesmerizing. It's like God decided to bottle up lightning in your eyes just for the hell of it."

She giggled at his description and he held her tighter, "Your laugh is like a song itself. I could listen to it all day."

"You have such a way with words, Sato."

"It's all true... I still have no idea why your classmates would tease you because of how you look."

"I'm fat, Sato. That's why they made fun of me."

He snorted out a laugh, "I'm sorry, you're not fat. If anything, you're the perfect size. You're curvy."

Rya hid her face from him again, trying her best not to be so touched by his sweet words. The once relaxed Rya became still as a statue, holding in her emotions. Sato noticed the change and rubbed her back, "I know. It's okay to cry, Rya."

"No it's not." She said painfully. "It makes me feel weak."

"Everyone is weak sometimes, Rya. It makes us stronger when we admit it."

"I hate crying." She tensed up.

"Crying makes you beautiful, Rya. When you hold in your tears, they eventually dry up and you become an ugly, heartless person. Tears are what helps us grow and flushes the lies from our lives."

She sobbed, her face in her hands, doing her best to be as silent as possible. Sato held her close, letting her know he was there for her. He let the tears fall, he didn't care that his shirt was getting wet. She needed to feel the feelings she was denying herself.
