Rya and Sato didn't make the best time, they came in fourth, but the winners, Momo and Mezo gave their win to them so Rya could relax after such a hard challenge. She was thankful that her brother gave her the opportunity to be the first up there, he still made her very happy. She worried that since he didn't do the regular things he did for her anymore, that he didn't care about
In reality, Mezo wanted her and Sato to have time together, he knew his friend was a good guy. Rya walked through the doors and out onto the beautiful look out spot. The view was to die for, the area rose above the trees and she could see every bit of the sky and its dazzling stars. She sat down on the ground to strum her ukulele, "Hey there, Kitten." She heard Sato's voice behind her. "How do you like it up here?" He asked.
"It's perfect."
"It must be, you brought your Ukulele. Planning to sing to the heavens?" He teased sweetly. Rya laughed and shook her head.
"I was actually planning on singing to you." She blushed. Sato stood pleasantly surprised by the sweet gesture. "I never really thanked you properly."
"Thank me for what, silly?"
"For everything you've done for me." She sat at the edge of the stone railing of the area, he followed her and sat down. She plucked her strings and started to hum, "There are many things that I could say
In this silly song of mine. I don't know where to start so I guess I'll look into my heart..." she glanced at him, he listened attentively."If I showed you the city lights
Sitting up on the roof, way up high,
I say what a pretty display...
but you'd say right back, you're much prettier than that." She giggled. Sato laughed at the cute way she sang her little song and kept his attention on her, he didn't want to miss a minute."If We sat in the sea,
The fish swimming at our feet
A rainbow of color around me I'd say,
To be a lovely fish is my wish
You'd say right back, you're lovelier than that."
It was sweet to know that she remembered and appreciated every time he told her she was beautiful, it let him know that she was starting to believe it."If we stood under the stars
Tending to our scars,
the twilight beaming down, Id say
Tell me again, say it again...""You're more beautiful than the stars." He finished, she put her ukulele down and he held her hand.
"That was a sweet song, Rya." He told her, his thumb caressing her hand.
"Thank you for telling me that I'm beautiful."
"You're welcome, sweetheart." He reached up to her face, she leaned into his touch. "Yore worthy of every time I told you and much more."
"How are you so sweet?" A tear of silent joy rolled down her cheek.
"I'm full of sugar." He joked earning a breathy laugh from her lips. "Come here." He pulled her close, she leaned up against him as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Thank you for your little song, that meant a lot to me." He kissed the top of her forehead.
"Of course."
"You wrote that yourself?" He asked.
"Yeah, the last verse I improvised... I didn't know what else to write down."
"It's perfect."
"Sato?" She looked up at him, his brown eyes shining into hers.
"Yeah?" He replied.
"...Are we...together?" She instantly regretted asking the question, she hoped it didn't ruin the mood. She needed to know.
"That depends." He chuckled. "Do you want to be together?" He asked back.
"How could I reject the one guy who doesn't go one day without telling me I'm beautiful?" She sunk into his strong frame, feeling secure in his grasp.
"How could I go one day without holding you like this?"
Rya giggled happily, reaching her hand up to guide his face towards her. She kissed his lips and Sato leaned in for more. Her kiss was refreshing, awakening his senses as they kissed each other repeatedly. Their kiss was broken when they heard a noise from the doors. The looked up to see Mr Aizawa standing there with his hands in his pockets, looking a bit irritated.
Both of them immediately sat up and separated themselves from each other.
"Sensei, we were just-" Sato started to explain but his Sensei held a hand up.
"Dinner is ready." He simply said, turning on his heel and leaving the area again. They both glanced at each other, a shade of red dusting their cheeks. They might have to play it cool for a while. Rya picked up her ukulele and walked out with Sato, still feeling awkward that they were spotted.
Suddenly, during their silent walk towards the kitchen, Rya laughed at the situation. He shook his head, holding in his laughter at the reaction Aizawa had.
"He looked so pissed." She spoke.
"Did you see the look on his face?" Sato asked. They're giggles dissolved when they reached the kitchen. They took their plates and started to eat at the counter, away from the large table that everyone as sitting at.
"Hey look at that, what do you think?" Sero asked, gesturing to the couple sitting by themselves. Mina and the other girls looked and giggled.
"Aw they look so cute together." Uraraka told them.
"Good for Sato, she's so pretty." Froppy spoke up, seeing them eat together like a cute couple.
"Yeah, it's nice to finally see him with someone, he deserves to be happy." Mina said admiring the two.
"Rya deserves it too." Momo piped up. "I've never seen a smile like that on her. I'm glad she's with him." Mezo, who heard the little side conversation smiled under his mask, He appreciated Momos words and knew that they meant more than just observation. She just stood up for his sister.
