Mezzi Sho-Sho

Later on in the day, everyone settled themselves in the dormitories. It was a little late and Rya was working hard on something in the kitchen. Mezo came out to check up on her and saw her covered in flour. "What are you doing, Rye?"

She turned around to see her brother, "I'm making a cake."

"At this hour? Why?"

She looked down at the floor, "Sato made me a welcome to UA cake and I ruined it. I'm making him one to say sorry." She heard the oven ding and she pulled out the little three teared cake. Shoji shook his head and chuckled, when Rya had a task in mind, there was no stopping her.

"Okay, hand me the icing." He told her. Rya smiled and handed him the piping bag and they got to work decorating it. When they were finished, Mezo went back to bed and she headed to Satos room. She set the plated cake onto the floor on his door mat and knocked on the door. She bolted when she heard him stir and hurried to her room.

Sato opened the door to see a cake with blue icing sitting there on his door step. He looked around and took it inside, confused at the gesture. Once his light was turned on, he saw the words, "I'm sorry." Written in lavender icing.

He smiled at the kindness Rya had, the events that had transpired that day seemed to be a distant memory. Maybe Rya wasn't so crazy after all.

The morning came and Rya woke up to the new day, she changed into her uniform and headed out to the common area where some of the students sat and ate their breakfast. She immediately started to feel a little insecure, what did these kids eat? She looked around and settled on having a simple apple for the morning. She sat down at the counter and ate it, the morning was quiet and no one said a word which wasn't too normal for class 1-A.

Sato came in, placing the plate that once had her cake on it in the sink, he spotted her and leaned on the counter, "Morning." He spoke up.

"Morning, Sato." She gave him a friendly smile. "How are you?"

"Good now." He smiled back. "Thanks for the cake. What did you put in it?"

"It was a white cake originally but I put some cinnamon and vanilla in it."

"Cinnamon, that's what I couldn't put my finger on. It was really good."

"Thank you." She seemed to perk up like a cat whose attention was focused on something new. "Your quirk is interesting. I never heard of such a power."

"Yeah." He scratched the back of his neck. "Not many people have."

"I have so many questions." She looked at him with big eyes. Sato blushed, he hadn't gotten this much attention from a girl unless he cooked something.

"Ask away." He flashed her a friendly grin. Rya thought of which question to ask first. She would ask them all at once if she could.

"Are you sure? some of them are pretty silly. I'm just so curious."

"It's okay, I'm an open book." He said.

"...well, if you get pure power from only sugar...does that mean that you don't get any nutrients from healthy foods?" She asked.

"No, I still get vitamins from food, all kinds of food. It's the sugar that makes me powerful though."

"Okay, you don't get any cavities from sugar do you?"

Sato chuckled, "Nope, my body needs it which means that my teeth react differently to it. Makes them stronger actually." He smiled showing off his pearly whites.

"Wow...you're lucky. You probably don't have to go to the dentist at all."

"Haha, well I still go to keep up with my health like everyone else." He shrugged. "But no, I've never had a cavity."

"So besides your quirk, your body is a normal one. You can thrive off of any food including sugar...that's amazing." She said, thinking out loud.

"Thanks, I don't think I've heard it that way before." A light blush dusted his face. Her interest was so new that it flattered him a little.

Rya smiled and looked at his clothes, why wasn't he in his uniform? "Am I missing something? Why are you-" she looked around. "Why is everyone in normal clothes?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah. It's teachers work day. We get the day off so they can catch up on lesson plans, grading...stuff like that." He shrugged.

"I'm gonna kill Sho-Sho." She gritted her teeth.

"What did you call him?" He chuckled. "Sho-Sho?"

"Yeah, that's his nickname."

Sato laughed and saw Mezo coming out of the hallway, "Hey there, Sho-Sho. Morning." He teased.

Mezo just looked at his sister, it was a little too early for this.

"Only my sister calls me that."

"It's your sister who told me." He laughed.

Mezo looked at his sister, "You better run Rye!"

"Oh shit." Her eyes went big and she launched over the counter to avoid him. It was no use though, he had caught her in his long arms, "ahhh! Shoji!"

"Oh, yeah now you use my full name." He taunted. Rya squirmed in his grip and she looked at him, seeing that he was readying to give her a wet Willy.

"No, Shoji!" She screamed.

"You going to apologize?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, Sho-Sho." She giggled.

"You don't sound too sorry." He shoved his finger in her ear, making her scream.

"Ewwww! What the fuck Mezzi?"

"Mezzi?" Bakugo heard the other nick name and he giggled. "Aww Mezzi Sho-Sho!" He taunted.

"You're Dead Rya!" He glared at her. She bolted from the floor and ran to her room, locking herself in. The others stared at the silly sibling display and Sato was still giggling, "Mezzi Sho sho!"

"Man, shut up!" The two of them had their own horseplay and Sato easily tapped out.

"Well, what a morning this has turned out to be." Iida said, before focusing back on his news paper.

Rya decided to change out of her uniform and changed into a long sweater dress with thigh high socks that had pink paw pads on the soles of them. She wore shorts under her sweater and came back out.

"Hey there's my sis." Mezo said, not even mad anymore. He was just happy to see her in something that looked like her style. She hated looking like everyone else.

"Hey, Mezzi. Are you still mad at me?" She asked.

"Nah, you know I'm just being silly. Come here." He hugged her tight. "Want to go to the store today, pick out some things for your room?"

"Yeah."
