"That cannot happen again." Sunny spoke breaking the silence between us. We must have been sitting in my car for a solid five minutes without saying a word to each other.
"Why?" I said I not bothering to look at her. I kept my eyes...

"You can't tell her." Marcus said with a rare serious expression on his face.
He was in the middle of rolling up a joint. He's held this secret from Sunny for years. I don't know how he was so calm about this. I on the other hand was loosing my mind.
"How can I just not tell her man. It's right there in my face." I ran my hands through my hair and let out a deep exhale. There was no possible way I can keep a secret like this from Sunny.
Melvin has brought Dana around when we go out or when we have to travel for games. She is essentially his side chick and neither Sunny or Farrah have a clue.
"Give it time. The truth will come out eventually. Dana is a real snake. When Sunny finds out she's most likely going to beat her ass. If there is one thing about the Rose siblings they go hard for one another." Marcus sighed.
"Fuck!" I shouted in frustration. "Why didn't you tell me!" I groaned still not being able to fathom the current situation I was in.
This is not going to end well no matter which way I look at it. Sunny and her sister are very close but to my knowledge Sunny is close to Dana as well.
This situation was chaotic. I usually don't even get involved in situations like this, I could easily just walk away but this is Sunny, I was far too deep in. I am not going anywhere.
"I was going to tell you this morning at the kitchen, remember." Marcus said looking at me with no emotion on his face. "You got to tell Melvin to cut her loose." "Trust me I tried." Marcus sighed. "Apparently Dana is real crazy. Every time he tries to break things off with her she goes ballistic. I'm going to be honest. The real reason I never brought Sunny around is because Melvin told me not to. Now that you are dating her I don't know how long Melvin will be able to hold this secret." Marcus said lighting the joint he just rolled up.
Jake entered the living room where Marcus and I were in the middle of this heated conversation. He was oblivious to what was going on, he rubbed his eyes and let out a strained yawn. He's been asleep all afternoon.
"Hey." He smiled at the both of us before sitting beside me on the couch.
"What's up man. I was getting a little worried there." Marcus said handing the light up joint to me.
I took a few hits and nodded my head. Marcus tends to always get the good weed. The previous guy we used to buy our weed from got busted and no one has heard from him ever since.
"Damn I had a fucking crazy night." Jake said rubbing the back of his neck. "Trust me you didn't have as crazy night as this motherfucker right here." Marcus said motioning his head at my direction.
I rocked my head back and Jake stared at me confused.
"He was with Sunny." Marcus said shaking his head. "So you and Sunny are a thing now. All anyone can talk about is you kissing her at the parking lot after the game." Jake smiled. "Yeah, she's my girl now." I said with a grin. "Oh congratulations! I wonder how Kendra is going to take that." Jake joked.
