" hi my name is sousuke mitsuba... would you like to he friends ? " a boy walks up to me & asks.

" ..... sure i dont have any yet.. but one.. & im y/n l/n! " i reply. " oh thats nice.... " he says , sitting down. " do you know who sits there ? " he points beside you. " mhm! my friend kou! " "oh alright , thank you! " he says.

" no problem , mitsu- do you mind if i call you that ? " i ask.

" i-i.... i dont mind ! " he says . his smile was beautiful.... " can i..... call you n/n ? " he asks , looking down.

" i dont mind either ! " i say. " great ! " he says.

" well class is starting , goodluck " he says . " oh- you too ! " i tell him & he smiles. kou then walks into class. mitsu greets himself & they become friends. kou turns to me. " hey y/n " i stare at my book while responding " hey.... "

" huh? whats wrong?? you seem- "

" im fine kou " i smile & look at him. " great , are we still eating together on the roof ?? " he asks.

" yup !! " i replied . " do you mind if i come along to ? " mitsuba asks. " sure !! " i say.

lunch time .

i walked to the roof & it was just mitsuba. "hey" i say , sitting down beside him. " hi " he replies , smiling at me . i stare at him for some time...

" whats wrong ? is there something on my face??? " he asks , jumping up .

" no.... theres- mitsuba you're beautiful. " i blurted out. " im sorry , that came out weird- what im saying is... " i couldnt think of a different way to put it.

" yeah... thats what i meant . you're really beautiful. " he stares at me in disbelief.

" y-you think im beautiful...? " he asks , slowly sitting down.

" yeah , very.. your hair is amazing- " i stand up  & walk behind him. " do you mind ...? " i ask for consent. " no , not at all... " i take the rubber band off of his hair. it then falls to his face , covering his right eye .

" you look amazing. your hair too. " i sit down & put my hands on his cheeks. " i-i have a camera... we could take some pics.. if you want " he holds my wrists.

" mhm! seems fun " i say as he pulls his camera out of his bag. " ready ? " he asks " yup! "

we snap a few pics & kou comes to the roof. " hey sorry im late som- whats going on ?? "

" just taking some pictures " mitsuba says.

" lets take one altogether. " kou suggests.

mitsuba positions the cam on us & we pose.
" say mochi ! "

" mochi !! " he takes the pic & we wait for it to develop.

a few minutes ltr , it does & we look at it. " i love it... " mitsuba says.

" besties for life ? " i ask .

" besties for life ..! " they say.

as the year went on , kou spend more time w/ his other friends while mitsuba & i spend all of our time together. kou rarely talked to us , so we usually just forgot he sat beside us .

now , mitsuba & i were talking in a club room.

" hahahaha yeah " i agree w/ him.

then we have our usual pause & stare moment.. " y/n " he starts. " do you mind if..

i kiss you ? " he asked.

" o-oh no , i dont mind.. " he slowly inches his way towards me , then finally our lips collide. he puts his hand on my cheek & i put my arms around his neck.

" y/n " he calls my name again . " i like you " he tells me.

" ... i like you too. do you wanna date ? " i ask. " i-i wouldnt mind that.. ive never dated someone.. " he says . " its fine.. tomorrow we can go on a date. " i say

for him there is no tomorrow.

" okay , thank you. for everything. " he thanks me .

" heyyyy thats kinda cringy. " we both laugh. " but you're welcome. "

" ... if i were to die tomorrow , what would you do. " he asks , holding my hand tightly.

" ...... im not sure " i tell him , looking down at out hands. " but ... thats not likely to happen . " i lie.

" oh... okay.. thank you , again . " he hugs me again.

" hello class uhm... " the teacher starts.

" uh.. kou ? " i tap him. " yeah ? " he says , still looking at the teacher. " have you seen m- "

" he sadly cant be w/ us anymore .. theres been a accident... " he explains.

" y/n. theres nothing you can do. he's gone now. " kou tells me for the 100th time. he was trying to comfort me , but he was too jealous to think straight.
