i hc zenitsu usually calls his lover ' darling ' but when scared , he calls them ' baby '

" mhm , inosuke arent you cold ?! " he's like that kid that wears a fucking coat when its hot as hell outside. like bitch ik you hot-

" nope !! i never get cold ! " he didnt have a shirt on.. & it was snowing...

" yeah but im getting cold just from being on your back.. your back is cold.... " i rubbed his shoulders.

" im not cold ! getting cold is for weaklings! " he said. " alright then... " i put my chin on his head as we continue walking around. tanjiro & nezuko were together , while we split up to search for more.

but... zenitsu was w/ inosuke & i... we didnt tell tanjiro we lost him... so right now , we're looking for him while im on inosuke's back bcs i had broken my leg a few days ago from a battle.

meanwhile...

" ...... y/n?? is that you?! " zenitsu asks , looking for well- his girlfriend. the reason that he wasnt carring y/n was bcs he was pretty cold , & she didnt wanna be a burden to him. 

but while walking , she was holding his hand. she let go when she almost fell off inosuke's back.... & inosuke started running & jumping around.

" p-please... someone help me.. i just wanna find my girlfriend & go home!!! " zenitsu cried.

" zenitsu!!! " i shouted as inosuke ran to him. " are you okay hon- " he took me off inosuke's back & hugged me.

" AHH I THOUGHT YOU WERE LOST FOREVER!! I CANT BELIEVE I ACTUALLY LOST YOU!!! NEVER LEAVE MY SIDE AGAIN , alright ? " he hugs me a but too tight-

" honey , i cant breathe- " i say , then tanjiro runs to us. " hey guys what happened ? you seem like something happened? " he was holding nezuko's hand since it was nighttime.

" y-yeah- " " here ! get on my back!!! " zenitsu insisted. " okay- " he put me on his back & took my bags from inosuke. " ill hold them for you darling !! " zenitsu then starts to skip along the road happily.

" ah , wait up inosuke ! " tanjiro laughed , catching up. " HEY!! " inosuke ran to catch up.

" i missed you alot!! i even got some stuff that reminded me of you while i was lost! " zenitsu laughed , just loving my presence.

" thanks ! " i put my arms around his neck & closed my eyes.

" are you sleepy , darling ? " he stopped & asked. " we can keep shopping if you want " i insisted , he then started running back to inosuke & tanjiro.

" WE'RE GOING HOME , Y/N IS SLEEPY & I DONT WANT HER TO DIE FROM A SICKNESS!! " he ran the way we came from.

" okay- wait zenitsu!! you'll end up lost if you just run any- " he sees that we arent in sight anymore. "where.... " tanjiro finished.

" we're lost.... " zenitsu cuddled me. " mhm.. " i wasnt listening , i was half asleep . " babyyyyy we're lost !!!! " zenitsu cried into my arms.

"we'll be okay..... " i patted his head.

" babyyyyy wake up!!! " he kept kissing me.

" hm ? " i opened my eyes. " why're we sitting down... " i asked , playing w/ his hair. " we're losttttt ... again babyyyyy " he wined again.

" oh.. its alright babe... tanjiro'll find us.. or inosuke. i wouldnt mind either... " zenitsu laid his head in my lap while i fell asleep again...

tanjiro eventually found us , we were both asleep . inosuke carried me on his back while tanjiro carried zenitsu.

lets just say zenitsu wasnt happy when he found out HE. was the one that was sick.....
