mitsuba is scared of thunder to the point of tears , so here !

also he's still alive , 15 now.

" its alright kou , ill go get my umbrella! " i shout to kou as he waves to me. i then run back in the school building.

while im walking , i hear someone crying. "huh?" i ask looking back.

" rain rain go away... come again another day. " he sings while crying. ( I HAD TO )

" .... " i go to the classroom & open the door. i see mitsuba in the corner w/ his head on his knees. " oh , mitsuba!! are you alright?? " i run to him & get on the floor.

" wh-what.... " he asks trying to seem like he isnt crying. " you're afraid of thunder ? " i ask. " n-no! im not... " he answers.

as he does , the thunder booms.

he then hugs me tightly while sniffing. his tears get on my shirt. " shh its alright mitsuba " i put my arm around him & cuddle him.

" c-can you stay w/ me.... til the rain stops.. " he asks , looking up at me w/ puppy dog eyes.

" of course! " i hug him tighter & get some tissues from the table. " here , wipe your face. it'll be fine , i promise. " i assure him. he wipes his face then goes back to his spot while looking down.

" how'd you even find me..... " he asks. " well kou & i planned to walk home together- i should text him about it. " i take out my phone. " but i had forgot my umbrella , he offered me his but i declined. if i didnt decline , you wouldve been here by yourself.. " i pat his head.

" dont touch the hair.... " he says while wiping his face.

" ah , my bad . " i put my arm around his neck & start to text kou.

kOuh : y/n?? you alright?!

yeah , but mitsuba's here & he's scared.

kOuh : oh alr , im coming in.

you dont have to.

kOuh : i want to , now which classroom?

" kou'll be here in some time , mitsuba. are- "

" huh ? " i ask bcs idk wtf he just said.

" nothing! forget it.... ill tell you soon i guess " he sees the door opening. " theres kou... " he says.

kou walks in on the phone. " yeah , i will just gimmie some time.. " he hangs up. "hey , sorry my brother called. " kou then sat beside me. "hey dude , you alright ? "

the thunder booms & mitsuba hugs me. "guess not... " kou says. " well uh.... do you wanna get over your fears....? " kou looks at him as he slowly puts his head in my lap.

" no.... i just wanna sit here w/ y/n til it s- "

the thunder booms again. " AHHH! " mitsuba cries more . " shhh its alright mitsuba.. " i wipe his tears away as he looks up at me. i looks out the window. " hey... i think the rain is about to stop. " i say playing w/ mitsuba's hand.

" r-really ? " he asks. " mhm , the sky is clearing up. come on , we should get ready to leave. " i help him stand up. " o-okay... " he holds my hand & we get out stuff.

not long , the rain stops & we start to head home.

i hold both kou & mitsuba's hands. " well i hope you feel better mitsuba. " i say. " yeah! me too! " kou says.

" th-thank you.... " he says , looking down.

" you're welcome!! " kou says-

" not you , just y/n. " mitsuba says.

" whaa- i helped to!! " kou complains. " no. you actually made it worse.... lame ass traffic earring.. " mitsuba says.

" oh now you wanna act all tough since the thunder is gone?! " kou asks.

" bye lateb. ya'know what that stands for ? " mistuba stops.

" lame traffic earring boy .. " kou answers. " lame ASS traffic earring boy. " mitsuba corrects then makes kou stop holding my hand.

" we'll take another way home , you just..... get a better earring. " mitsuba puts his arm around my neck & walks off.

" pffft- bye kou! cya tomorrow! " i say waving. "wha- YOU'RE OKAY W/ WHAT HE JUST SAID?! " kou asks.

" sorry lateb , cant hear you. " mitsuba says as he opens a lollipop.

" i- WHATEVER! BYE. " kou goes the other way.
