" tanjiroooooo~ " i teased as i walked beside him.

he sighs , smiles , & looks at me. " yeah y/n ? " i put my arm around his shoulder. " guess what! " i ask him.

" hm.... i cant guess. well , what is it- " i kiss him on the cheek. " oh. " then i realize. "oops forgot what i was gonna say i guess. " i shrug as he continues walking. id usually tease him & often kids his cheek at times , so he was used to it. zenitsu...... didnt like it. jealousy....

he chuckles as i look back at inosuke & zenitsu. zenitsu was pretty pissed bcs inosuke wouldnt shut the fuck up. & inosuke was unbothered.

" well isnt that .... " i pause , looking into the distance. " akaz- oh ." i cover up what i said.

" hm? what'd you see? " tanjiro asks as i quickly look at him. " ah , nothing~ " we smile & finally make it to our destination.

" this kimono is amazing.... " i lay on my stomach as i close my eyes. " tanjiro could you give me a back massage? " i open an eye to look at him.

" if you'd like..? " he walks over to me & sits down , places his hands on my back. zenitsu stares at us.

" ....... " zenitsu stays quiet. " you see that? " he whispers to inosuke. " inosuke. " he calls his name. " boar face. " he calls again. he looks at him.

he fell asleep. damn. zenitsu sighed.

" jeez... " he rolled his eyes. " y/n , would you like me to help to!!? " zenitsu asks.

" sure.... really dont care , as long as its relaxing.. " i sigh in pleasure as tanjiro smiles at zenitsu.

then , he walks over & places his hands on my back as well. " just drift off to sleep.. " zenitsu orders.

" sweetest dreams , y/n. " he smiles. " mhm.. "

then he looks at tanjiro. " so. y/n. " he starts. "whats w/ you guys?" zenitsu asks , his hands moving to my waist. " huh? we're just fri- "

" dont give me that ' we're just friends ' crap. i want the cold blooded truth. " zenitsu looks down at his hands.

" im serious , nothing is up! " he assures him.

" well how come she's clinging to you , always- & kissing on you? can you answer that? " zenitsu asks , w/ a threatening & manipulative tone.

" .... are you hinting at something? you seem jealous. " tanjiro points out. " its okay to be , but i wouldnt recommend it. " tanjiro smiles , not understanding what zenitsu is getting at fully.

zenitsu took it as he was threatening him back. " well maybe i am. that isnt really your concern is it? "

meanwhile...

in y/n & inosuke's shared dreams.....

" WOOOO HOOOOOOO! l " inosuke & i jump in the hot tub. " LETS GOOOOO! " inosuke jumps up. " AGAIN AGAIN! "

" wait up inosuke!!! " i ran to follow him.

" now after this jump , WE'RE RULE THE MOUNTAINS FOREVER!! " imosuke takes my head & pats it. " FOREVER!! " a cheer as we jump.

" you work for us!!! " inosuke shouts , sitting in his thrown. " s-s-s-s-s-sorry master!!! " zenitsu stands up..

" yEa oUr bAd!! " tanjiro stands up. " go now! fetch us some food! " inosuke laughs as they walk away. " oKaY okAy kIng inOsuKe!! " tanjiro says.

" & my queen!! " inosuke points his staff at him " sOrrY!! qUeEn y/N!! " they run off.

" MWAHAHAAHAHAH ! " we both laugh while fist budding.

y/n & insouke always share dreams..... they may be the reason for they're great friendship. inosuke is very fond of her close friendship w/ tanjiro & doesnt really care. its a bigger flex that he shares dreams w/ her. win win ifykyk

back to reality....

" you should stop. you may hurt her. " tanjiro looked at zenitsu warningly.

" im not hurting her. if anything , you are. you're hurting her feelings. leading her on- "

" im not ' leaning her on ' im just waiting for- "
" what is there to wait for? "

" the right time! " tanjiro stands up. " im waiting for the right time to tell her- "

" well when is ' the right time ' you seem to be waiting for something that'll never come!! " zenitsu stood up.

" i-im not sure- but ill find that time... & it will come! i made a promise that it would ! " tanjiro wiped tears from his eyes. " & when i find it , ill take that chance to- " zenitsu tackles him to the ground.

" well im sure that time'll mever come bcs you wont make a move! you have a literal angel that loves you!! you should claim that before its not an option anymore! " zenitsu started to cry.

" you should get her before someone else does! before its to late- & when you do get her , give her all the affection in the world so she wont leave you l-like how i was betrayed..! " zenitsu stopped wrestling w/ tanjiro & laid on the floor looking upwards , slowly crying himself to sleep.

" z-zenitsu? " tanjiro sat up. he was sound asleep , tears drying up over his face. " ..... "

that night , tanjiro put zenitsu to his spot & kisses my forehead , before laying down next to me to think about what zenitsu said.

& he was right....

" BOW DOWN PEASANTS!! " inosuke laughs.

" a person?! im not just anyone. " he walks up to us. " the name's uzui tengen. " he held his hand out for inosuke to take.

" hm.... valid! " inosuke shook his hand. "queen y/n!!" inosuke called for me. " hm ? " i looked up from muichiro.

" MORE KNIGHTS HAVE ARRIVED. " he shouts as he runs to me. " that grea- " he hugs him. " THIS'LL BE THE BEST ONE YET. " he exclaims as i smile.

" yeah... id love to see how this turns out. "

" y/n. its time. we have to be there- " i woke up. " hUh? " i itched my head. " wake up. " tanjiro smiled as i looked at him. " oh. " i stand up. " its so bright out.... "

" but somehow you're still the brightest star in my sky. " tanjiro smiles sadly. i look back as he slowly fades away.

" i really miss you , y/n. " tanjiro smiled sadly. " zenitsu was right.... i shouldve took the chance when i had it... "

in case you didnt get the hint , akaza killed y/n for betraying him . & what happened was the day before he killed her.

& that was the last dream you had w/ inosuke. after that , he had lots of dreams that replayed in his mind that you shared....

damn 1000 words. i made this to be happy , then my mood shifted bcs my friends were arguing.
