" whats going on? " atsushi asked , glancing at everything in the room. " y/n .. you here ? " he was a bit paranoid , & prayed it was her & not dazai.

well... his prayers were half answered....? there in the kitchen ; stood y/n & dazai.

" you cant commit double suicide alone "dazai sang. " so get a friend to join! " i continued.

" what.... " atsushi couldnt form a sentence , she thought y/n hated dazai. thought he was immature , boring , & all.

but there she was , singing along w/ him while baking....

we looked at the stunned boy. " ohhhh atsushi! there you are!! " we smile as we pull him into a hug.

" i...... are you guys okay?! you usually cant be in the same room- "

" better than ever , atsushi! " dazai gets back to baking. " mhm! " i pat his head as i walk to the oven.

" really?! bcs you guys usually- " " forget the past , focus on the future. " i shrug. "mhm so you want anything?? " dazai takes the pan out the oven. " we got bread. cupcakes. cake. pie- "

" why'd you suddenly do this? its so random. " atsushi grabs a plate. " change of heart..? " he asks.

dazai & i look at each other & wink. " you could say that. " dazai confirms.

" wait.... are you guys dating!? thats why ev- "

" no! thats not the case. " i look at atsushi. " its different. kinda. maybe. not really. " i shrug again as atsushi takes a bit of pie. " mm thid is gret. " he closes his eyes in pleasure . " chew your first first. -_- " dazai looks at him.

" sorry! but this is great. but.... this is lots of things.. how're we gonna eat it all...? " atsushi asked. little did he know...................................

" ahhhh im full! " dazai sighs as he yawns after. " meeeeee too. " atsushi agrees. " me three. " i kick my feet up on the table.

" well. ive got things to do , so to da loo ! " dazai stands up.

" bye! " i wave at him. he leaves & atsushi looks at me. " so.... what happened?? " he asks again.

" we told you , change of heart . " i say , laying my head in his lap. " u-uh... " he didnt know what to do w/ his hands.

i sigh. " im preeeeeetty tired after today... so goodnight.. " atsushi places one hand on my arm & the other on my head. " oh.. o-okay! uh goodnigh- "

" i love you. " i say , falling asleep right after that.

" oh?! uh so i uh well- " he paused for a moment to stop his stuttering. " im- i love you too!! " he smiles as he rubs my arm.

" y/n why.... " he asks , not realizing i was asleep.

" why'd you pick me..... " he leans on me.
" y/n ? " he sits up. "oh. ofc , you're asleep .. "
