Jane was pacing up and down in her room with William standing at a distance watching her worry over the disappearance of her daughter.
"I can't believe this. You should have told me William. You should have told me."
"Are we still arguing about this?"
She kept on pacing.
William wanted to be worried, but the only thing he could think about was Amy kissing him. Why would she do that? What pushed her?
"She always does this. She always behaves this way when Peppa shows up. Where did she get the cellphone?"
Earlier on, Jane had gone into Amy's room to try to find anything which could signify why her daughter had left. William Rakes had not mastered up the courage to tell Jane the truth. All he said was that Amy simply run out of the house and hadn't come back since.
After searching her room, Jane found the cellphone and Amy's diary. The cellphone was proof that something had gone wrong and that was how William had informed her of Peppa's visit, the night of Amy's birthday.
She took the diary and cellphone with her to her bedroom and that was when she confronted William about allowing Peppa to see Amy.
"See what happened? It's been two days and we have no idea where she is."
William looked at the diary which was on top of her dressing mirror table. The diary was everything. What he needed. The Answers.
"I'm so mad at you right now William. I'm really mad." Jane stressed, walking out of the room to the joy of William. He quickly run to the diary and picked it up, opening the cover of the diary.
The first page had the writings;
For Amy, On Her Eighth Birthday.
"It came from Peppa." William said to himself.
He closed the cover of the book and walked out of Jane's room to Amy's room. After this, he locked the door and went to sit on Amy's bed, opening the diary to read.
2 Days Ago.....
After running out of the house, she run along the roadside, tears streaming down her face. It hurt her that Kayla could kiss her dad and they would smile afterwards but she couldn't do that with William.
Why? Wasn't he her dad?
She kept on running, not certain on where she was going, then out of nowhere, a car honked at her. She turned and there stood a car she knew too well. Mara's car.
"Hey Amy! Where are you going to? Get into the car!"
"Mara." Amy voiced out to herself. She run to the car and sat inside, "why are you here?"
"I should be asking you that. You are far away from home. Where were you going to?"
"I don't know. I just run and didn't stop running."
"Okay. It's good you're here. See that house over there? They need some good stuff so I'm here to deliver the package."
"You mean drugs?"
"Haha, what else? I'm waiting for them to text me to come over."
"I see." Amy said and they sat in silence after that.
Within a few minutes, Mara's phone buzzed. She watched the screen of the phone and said, "they are ready. Stay here and don't go anywhere."
"I won't. I want to come with you."
