Chapter thirty five: victorious part two

Ben and Toro collided with Toro trying to bite Ben on the face but Ben ducked under his jaws and hit Toro with his tail. Toro stumbled backwards but then clamped his jaws onto Ben's front right leg.

Ben bellowed in pain but then knocked Toro back with his tail again. The two began to circle each other with Toro trying to intimidate Ben by mock biting at him.

Ben didn't even flinch but that's when Toro charged at him head first knocking Ben backwards. Ben got up from the floor and shook off some dirt and sand. Toro charged towards Ben again but he hit Toro in the face with his tail hard and the Carnotaurus stumbled backwards but then clamped his jaws onto Ben's neck.

However Ben knocked him off and then knocked Toro out cold with his tail. Toro lay defeated on the ground while the crowd roared in excitement as Ben bellowed in victory. However Ben was herded back into a elevator cage by some Mantah Corp drones and he was lowered into a medical bay.

Medical personnel were already checking on Toro and some walked up to Ben and patched up his injuries. When Ben was returned to his cage he looked at his leg that now had a permanent scar on it. 'What happened up there?' Yasmina asked and Ben sighed in reply.

'They forced me and Toro to fight, there's a whole crowd watching the fight.' Ben said eyes still looking at his front right leg and he then slumped down onto the ground. 

"You'll get used to it." A female voice said and Ben looked up to see a familiar face. It was Mae, Ben let out a soft snort as he looked at her. Mae then touched him on the top of his head and Ben relaxed a bit taking some deep breaths.

Yasmina rubbed her head against the wall of her cage scratching her head. However that's when the gate to her cage open and some BRADS escorted her out of her cage and she looked over at a Pentaceratops which was also being removed from it's cage as well.

When the two got into the arena Yasmina gulped nervous about the fight as the Pentaceratops snorted as it stepped off the platform and the mantah corp drones herded the two close together.

The Pentaceratops then slammed it's head into Yasmina's and she stumbled backwards in pain. Yasmina then swung her head at the Pentaceratops cutting it on the shoulder however it knocked her over with it's horns and then bellowed as it raised up onto her hind legs.

However Yasmina kicked it in the chest knocking it over but the Pentaceratops got up and then slammed into Yasmina and lifted it's head up sharply cutting her on the chest. The Pentaceratops then threw the smaller and lighter Yasmina over it's head.

Yasmina landed on the ground in defeat and attempted to stand up but the Pentaceratops then slammed it's head into her chest and Yasmina fell limp as she passed out and she closed her eyes. The Pentaceratops then raised it's head and bellowed in victory lifting it's front right leg as it did so. 

Kenji, Darius, and Sketchy watched from the stands as people cheered for the Pentaceratops as it was then herded away from Yasmina and Yasmina was taken to the medical bay. "Forcing herbivores to fight each other? This is insane." Darius said and Sketchy just nodded in agreement.

"Get ready for our next fight as we'll have our second ever apex predator brawl. Between an Acrocanthosaurus and our legendary Spinosaurus!" An announcer's voice came over the speakers and Darius could recognize that voice anywhere.

"It's Kash." Darius said in disgust and Sketchy almost let out an Indominus like snarl.

"I've read his file, he hates dinosaurs with every bone of his body. Chances are Daniel Kon and his Purge troopers are here as well." Sketchy growled and Kenji shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"Yeah he probably is..." Kenji said dryly as a good hour later Jake and the Spinosaurus were released into the arena. The two roared at each other and charged before the drones could begin to herd them towards each other.

Jake slammed his head into the Spinosaurus' chest however the Spinosaurus pushed him down. Jake then clamped his jaws onto the Spinosaurus' neck and then threw it but the much larger predator only skidded back a few feet. 

The two roared at each again and began to circle each other and the Spinosaurus snapped it's jaws at Jake but he just let out a short roar at it. The two charged at each other again but Jake slammed his tail into it's face. 

The Spinosaurus then used it's larger size to push Jake down and it clamped it's jaws on Jake's neck and slammed him down onto the ground. Jake's eyes went from yellow to red and he lunged at the Spinosaurus biting it on the neck hard enough to draw blood.

People cheered from the crowd as the Spinosaurus slashed Jake on the shoulder but Jake then used all of his strength to knock it over and it let out a few shaky breaths as it looked at Jake and then closed it's eyes waiting for it's death.

However Jake stopped himself much to the crowds dismay then roared in the Spinosaurus' face and then turned around to walk away but he then fainted from exhaustion and fell to the ground. Both combatants were removed from the ring and Kenji sighed in relief. "Thank god Jake didn't kill the Spinosaurus." Kenji said and Darius just silently nodded in agreement.

Jake later on woke up in the infirmary and looked over to see a familiar Giganotosaurus and he snarled at it. 'Scourge.' Jake snarled telepathically and the injured Giganotosaurus' eye looked over at him.

'They got you to?' Scourge asked weakly and Jake was surprised by his tone of voice. 

'No but what are you doing here and why are not trying to kill everyone?' Jake asked and Scourge sighed weakly.

'Jake I was betrayed by Mantah corp, but I'm not fighting anyone anymore.' Scourge said moving his head slightly. 

'What do you mean by "not fighting anyone"?' Jake asked and Scourge sighed.

'When the world sees you as a monster the world is wrong, when you see yourself as a monster that's when everything changes.' Scourge said with a tired tone in his voice. Jake then looked over at the Spinosaurus which was still resting. 

'So you're no longer fighting anyone anymore?' Jake asked and Scourge just nodded softly as Mae walked in a data pad in her hand.

"Dear lord." Mae said dropping the device on the floor as she covered her mouth with her hands and looked at the fatality injured therapods. Mae walked up to Scourge and rested her hand on his nose and he exhaled some air out of his nose weakly.

A part of Jake was actually saddened by the state his old rival was in and he looked anywhere but at Scourge.

Yep scourge is no long evil, in fact I set him up similarly to IDW megatron. Like Megatron he becomes a good guy.
