Chapter fifty one: again?!

Everyone was in shock that Brooklynn and Kenji had actually decided to do the thing. "Is that why you dropped your kid off with me and Amber a week ago?" Jake asked clearly taking the news better then first time he heard that Brooklynn was pregnant.

"Yeah a bit." Brooklynn said rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. Ben took a deep breath in and put his hands together.

"Seriously you two?" Ben asked with a serious tone in his voice while Sammy was silent the whole time. "Like come on. We've got problems to worry about and we don't need to add having to keep you safe so that you don't have a miscarriage." Ben stated and Brooklynn looked at the ground.

"So I'm sidelined again?" Brooklynn asked and Jake walked up and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Brooklynn trust me you'll be fine. Sure it'll take nine months for you to bring your kid into the world but it'll be better if you don't injure yourself and potentially kill your baby if you stay here." Jake said trying to comfort his daughter and Brooklynn hugged him silently.

Ben meanwhile looked over at Yasmina who was holding her head still dealing with the hangover. "Still dealing with that hangover?" Ben asked and Yasmina looked over at him.

"Yeah." Yasmina groaned as she flinched from the sun that just appeared from behind the clouds. Ben then offered his hand to Yasmina which she took and he led her down to the mess hall.

"Sketchy told me that when Edward had a hangover that oatmeal and eggs helped with him dealing with it." Ben said and Yasmina then after eating some scrambled eggs and oatmeal felt a tiny bit better but not by much.

"I feel a bit better." Yasmina said and the two then left the mess hall and went down to the hanger bay to return their Jaeger suits to their hanger bays.

The two pilots then left the hanger bay as the sun emerged again from behind the clouds. "Well I guess we wait for the hangover to pass." Ben said and Yasmina just flopped down on her bed.

"I'm going to have a nap." Yasmina stated tiredly and Ben just nodded silently and he turned the lights off and then closed the door to let Yasmina get some sleep in the dark.

Ben walked down the halls however he then took a deep breath and walked back over to the hanger bay for the mark five's. The J-tech crew for Striker eureka were hard at work preforming maintenance on the mark five Jaeger suit. 

Ben then walked past Striker eureka to look at Chronos berserker which was having it's hammerhead missiles replaced and then Tiger rush which was having it's electro sword repaired. Ben then walked into the mark six hanger bay to see Valor Omega having it's final bit or repairs carried out. 

Ben then looked over at Titan redeemer's empty hanger bay which stood empty. Ben however soon remembered something about how the shatterdomes were being opened up again and he walked onto the tarmac for the shatterdome as Gipsy danger, Brawler Yukon, Chrome Brutus, and Gipsy marauder be airlifted out to be returned to the Anchorage shatterdome. 

Ben then looked over at Paladin ultra, Diablo intercept, Matador fury, and Solar prophet were airlifted soon after to be taken to Lima shatterdome. Ben then looked over at Tacid Iacon, Romeo blue, Tango Tasmania, and Gigaplex criterion were then airlifted to the Los Angeles shatterdome. 

Ben looked over at Cherno alpha, Nova Hyperion, and Eden assassin as they were prepared for being airlifted to the Vladivostok shatterdome. Ben knew that Sammy would be unable to pilot Cherno again unless she was assigned to the shatterdome. But she didn't talk much about the mark one. Ben figured it was because of the beatdown the Mega hybrid had given the mark one. 

Ben then noticed Tacit Ronin, Echo saber, Panther virtue, and Guardian foxtrot being prepared to be airlifted as well back to the Tokyo shatterdome. "Why isn't Coyote with them?" He asked himself out loud and Jake answered with. 

"Because it's been stationed here." Ben turned to look at Jake as he stood like a proper marshal. "Sammy's going to the Vladivostok shatterdome soon. You might want to go say goodbye." Jake said and Ben rushed off to find Sammy. 

"Hey Ben." Sammy said cheerfully looking at him and Ben then said. 

"Sammy I know we're probably not going to see each other for a while but I really hope you stay safe." Ben said and the two hugged. 

"I will, besides I'm using Cherno alpha. It's going to take more then one rogue Jaeger suit to bring it down." Sammy said as she then boarded the transported and waved at Ben as it took off and Ben waved back a smile on his face.
