Hours later Ben was annoyed to say the least, the drone jaeger not only kidnapped Brooklynn but had put a computer virus into the systems of all jaeger suits that were mark six and seven. "Well this is just great." Ben said sarcastically after failing to start up Gipsy avenger for the third time.
"Well it's about to get worse, LOCCENT has identified two hybrid signatures making a B-line to Hong Kong." Appo said and Ben went to go suit up in Striker eureka with Sketchy in Crimson typhoon, and Yasmina in Gipsy danger.
"Striker defend the coastline do not engage unless absolutely necessary. Gipsy and Crimson hold the miracle mile." Marshal Levine's voice came over the comm units of each of the jaeger suits as Striker eureka was dropped into the knee deep water of the coast while Gipsy and Crimson were dropped a bit further out.
"Copy that Marshal." Ben said as his spotlights turned on and Sketchy scanned the ocean with his eyes.
"This is Crimson to command I don't see anything it's a false-" Sketchy was cut off as a hybrid between a Kaprosuchus and ankylosaurus burst out of the water and slammed it's tail into Crimson's mid section.
The mark four fell to the ground but caught itself with it's arms and Sketchy shook his head and then stood up activating the thundercloud formation and Sketchy swung his saw blades at the hybrid cutting it repeatedly.
It then started to rain as the hybrid roared in pain and then leaped at Crimson but Sketchy slammed his elbow down on the hybrids head. The hybrid then clamped it's jaws onto Sketchy's arm and then threw him a good distance.
However Sketchy hit his head hard on a rock and he blacked out from the impact and lay motionless in the sand. Yasmina charged towards the Ankylosuchus and then punched it repeatedly in the face with Gipsy danger's elbow rockets.
The Ankylosuchus then clamped it's jaws onto Yasmina's hand but she punched it hard in the neck and the hybrid roared in pain. That's when the second hybrid revealed itself and it repeatedly beat on Gipsy's head, the hybrid itself was the size of a silverback gorilla but it had the boney armour of a Euplocephalus, and it's head was similar to that of a Velociraptor.
"This is Striker eureka, I'm going in to help!" Ben shouted and he charged towards the hybrids. However by time he got there smoke billowed from were Gipsy's helm was located and Ben froze in place as Gipsy danger fell to the shallow ocean floor near the beach.
Ben yelled in rage and activated his sting blades and he repeatedly slashed the Silverback hybrid however it punched Striker hard in the visor and Ben skidded backwards. "Striker we're detecting weird readings from the silverback hybrid!" Richard's voice came over the comm unit and Ben watched as the hybrid activated an emp generator.
Ben's AI let out a yell and went dark and Ben couldn't move however he then forcibly started up his reactor core as the Ankylosuchus let out a roar and Ben noticed something in the ocean. Yasmina meanwhile ripped Gipsy's smoking helm off her head and she looked over to also notice the thing in the ocean.
"I'm reading primoridal ooze readings from the new target, over." Ben said as his sensors detected high enough primoridal ooze levels that they only matched two person.
"Oh this just great a rogue shapeshifter joined the party." Richard said with a snarky tone in his voice.
"Negative marshal those readings only match two people, Jake and Brooklynn. But Jake's in the shatterdome..." Ben said trailing off and in LOCCENT Brooklynn's signal appeared on the screen but corrupted. Instead of showing her human face it showed a dinosaur-jaeger suit-hybrid but with pink markings on it.
"Bloody hell it corrupted her." Richard said as Brooklynn burst from the ocean and let out an ear piercing roar. Ben looked over at her but the Ankylosuchus roared at her and Brooklynn charged towards Hong Kong.
Ben swung his sting blades at the Ankylosuchus and he managed to cut it on the back and the Ankylosuchus charged at him but Ben stabbed it through the brain. Yasmina then weakly activated her plasma caster and fired it at the silverback hybrid nailing it in the head killing it instantly and Yasmina lost consciousness.
Ben then walked on shore as he noticed smoke billowing from the buildings and Ben then looked over at a steel beam and he grabbed it and started to drag it as he walked down teh streets of Hong Kong.
"Brooklynn!" Ben shouted as he saw his friend eating something and Brooklynn looked at him and Ben looked at her bloody claws and maw. Brooklynn let out a roar and Ben lifted up the steel beam like a baseball bat.
