Olivia walked in to you sitting on the couch, she'd just finished a press tour for the fourth season of high school musical: the musical, the series, and was finally home for a few weeks. But though her pure excitement of seeing you again, she found it weird, seeing you on the couch, staring at your hands.
"Hey babe" she said as she approached you.
"Hey Olivia" you responded, earning a frown, you almost never called her Olivia, you almost always used bubba/baby/love/livie/liv or Livaboo to address her.
"I think we need to talk" you stuttered, clearly anxious.
"Jesus Christ, that already sounds like the beginning of a breakup speech" Olivia said, exasperated. She'd meant it as a joke, but when she saw the way you looked down at your hands, she wasn't so sure
"Are...are you really considering that?" She stuttered, suddenly just as anxious as you
"I....Olivia, look, it's not you... It's me-" you started, but Olivia cut you off
"Please Y/n, 'its not you, it's me, that's where we're at in our relationship??!" She asked, angry and sad all at once
"I just think we need some space, maybe take a break for a bit" you finished, but then noticed how Olivia's lips trembled
"Please...I....was it something I did? Please y/n, I...I need you! What happened to everything we've planned? Remember how we wanted to move to upstate New York and live alone in the woods with a lot of dogs? Please, y/n, I'll do anything...just please don't leave, I need you, please I can't lose you" Olivia cried
"You Really think you would ever lose me?" You asked
"What?" Olivia asked as she wiped the tears from her cheeks
"Baby, I'm staying right here" you assured her, holding your arms out for her, but Olivia wasn't quite that quick
"What made you change your mind?" She asked, sniffling
"Liv, I was never considering breaking up with you at all, it's a prank" you explained, feeling really bad about it now
"You're a pile of dog shit" Olivia smiled
"Love you too" you said with a grin
"But please don't ever do that again, I can't lose you, the thought of being without you makes me wanna die" Olivia said as she took the invite into your arms.
"Okay Livaboo" you used her favorite nickname as you assured her and cuddled Olivia against your side.
"Promise?" She asked, looking up at you
"Promise."
