ADDYLINE'S POV:
It’s been two great days after my lovely display of coconuts to my husband… Oh, who am I kidding! They have been two torturous days of absolute ignorance from Vladimir and Tremendous silence from my side. He even stopped sleeping on the bed as if I would burn him with my small gifts. I’m even more confused at his overreaction, I mean he was the one telling me that I don’t have anything that he hasn't seen! He should be acting normal as if he hasn’t seen his best or worst nightmare. I am the one who should feel traumatized by this whole situation, to have your fake husband be the first guy to ever see your bare chest is not an easy thing to digest.
Luckily my bed was arriving today So I won’t have to sleep consumed by Vladimir’s scent anymore. I had been trying to ignore it in the past few days but I would be lying if I said it hadn't affected me. Now I will have a new bed with new sheets to surround with my scent, plus I will now be able to breathe without feeling too conscious of a second deadly gorgeous human near me. I shall be free at last!
Viola had already retired for the day having completed the exercises with me as I am now able to lift my arm on my own, but I still can’t move my fingers. She trained me how to use my crutches and walker boot easily, so I’m now able to walk around the house but only upstairs, I always use the wheelchair when I’m downstairs. I can also breathe easily now, but still a bit uncomfortable as there is still much pain to get over. I can say that everything still needs a lot of work before I am able to fully function again.
I was sitting in the lounge with the whole couch to myself when I heard some noise downstairs that sounded awfully familiar. Guests! It couldn’t be my mom, because she had been here just yesterday. She was beyond angry when she saw the state I was in. All sorts of names to describe how stupid I was trying to swim in heels had poured out of her lips making it seem like her son-in-law was innocent. She didn’t come with Lililth as she had left her home for one last day to say goodbye to her friends before moving in. I’m sure she is extremely excited to be coming here, mostly because she wants to take pictures with her new celebrity family.
The noise got closer and I could hear many different footsteps and I frowned wondering why there were so many people coming. Not a minute later did my question get answered as Valentina, Ember, Britta and Freddie waltzed in looking like deranged runway models. I smiled at them but squinted my eyes at the blinding light that was coming from all of them.
“ Why the hell are you all wearing flashy clothes?” I asked before they could even sit.
“ Well hello to you too Addyline.” Valentina grunted being the only one wearing less flashy clothes but flashy nonetheless.
“ See, I told you she was fine. She’s already scolding us.” Britta commented as she came to sit next to the couch with my feet.
“ Oh my God, you look terrible!” Ember whined as she frowned at my state.
“ whoa, this house is sick!” Freddie said slowly sitting opposite me while staring at every detail of the house.
“ Did you come to see me or the house?” I asked Freddie being the last one I heard talking.
“ Honestly, I’m here for everything but you. You’re alive aren’t you!” He shrugged still not looking at me.
I shook my head glad to see my foolish friends. I still need to know about these flashlights they are wearing.
“ Okay, seriously! Why do you guys look like flashlights?” I asked checking them out.
“ It was Ember’s idea.” Valentina reported.
“ Why?” I asked still confused.
“ Ahh don’t be stupid Addyline, you wanted us to come into a notorious businessman's house looking like we walked out of a mine?” Ember reasoned.
