CHAPTER 26: Dr Raez

ADDYLINE'S POV:

"Are you ready?" Vladimir disturbed my reading into a Sannex magazine as I lay seated on the bed.

I looked up seeing him at the corner where his body was peaking from, I immediately closed the magazine and fixed my dress which was a little too high up my knees. He should have indicated before entering, what if I was in a compromising situation!

"Let me just wear my coat then I will be ready." I said limping to my couch and carefully wore my black coat.

As soon as I was done he walked towards the door and I limped behind him. What a real gentleman you are Mr Slavich, You can only treat other women with respect except for me even though I am practically saving your bone! What about the rule of ladies first? I shook my head as I closed the door and turned around only to see him waiting for me in the elevator.

Mhm, I'm starting to appreciate having this unnecessary elevator in the house. I was complaining about him not waiting for me and now my sweet dear elevator made him wait for me. I smiled and luckily he was too busy on his phone to notice. I think I'm going to teach him a little bit of patience, after all, I'm in a sinister mood today. I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that Vladimir had tried to kiss me yesterday, there was no one to witness our showcase of "love"!

I sighed and started walking lamely seeming as if I was in pain while dragging myself by the wall. I looked up at him to see if he had noticed and to my disappointment, he was still nudging his phone. I rolled my eyes in annoyance, what does it take to get one man's attention? I sighed and tried once more to make sure I get his attention, I noticed him looking up and I put on my acting skills. Nothing, Nothing at all, not even a word, he just looked at me standing like a magnificent statue. The only thing that shows his impatience was him continuously tapping his phone on his leg.

"Do you need help?" I heard him ask and I did a little victory dance in my head.

I quickly stopped and straightened my back shaking my head.

"I'm almost there, I need to do this on my own." I said being a little quicker.

I was telling the truth anyway, I had to continue walking without help so that I can be independent again. Of course, I'm not going anywhere without my crutches but I have started to walk without them. I entered the elevator and he immediately pressed downstairs which took only 3 seconds to reach.

Today was our first official meeting with Doctor Stevenson Raez and I was going with Vladimir for the sake of formalities, After that, we would take my sister from the airport and go to my house and guess what... Vladimir is coming with me! For us to continue looking like a couple having fun in their new marriage, we have to edit Vladimir's Original lifestyle which consists of work, sleep then work some more. Now it will be work, wife, sleep and work.

In twenty-five minutes we arrived at the gorgeous and well-designed clinic. It shows that it is a high-class clinic, everything even the floor looked fancy.

"Good morning Mr and Mrs Slavich, Welcome to my humble abode!" Doctor Raez said as he entered his office where we had been waiting for him.

"Thank you for your time Stevenson." Vladimir said not even smiling but submitting a quick nod.

"It's always an honour however this time it is unfortunately on sad terms, Mrs Slavich, it's wonderful to finally meet you. I apologize for not being present at the wedding, I was in Australia for some science fairs." He rambled on.

Wow, too much information in two seconds but I smiled nonetheless.

"Oh no that's fine Mr Raez, thank you for meeting us on such short notice I'm sure you have a long list of people who wish to see you." I sincerely spoke.
