ADDYLINE'S  POV

Six months. Six whole months of shock, disbelief, criticism of how the bachelor could do better. Months of anger, happiness, madness from his fans, paparazzi and lastly acceptance.

The world was now accepting that Vladimir Slavich had chosen a mere township girl instead of a model. All T.V. shows wanted an interview with this girl, competing against each other on who would reveal the secrets of this girl. The world either saw her as a gold-digger or the girl who stole the "prince's" heart.
This was how the world had seen it but I had a different perspective. For the past months, I had been living in my own shadow, a blissful numb life where I woke up with his car waiting outside to take me to work, went to lunch or pretend dates, then researching ideal doctors for my mom hopefully finding the best doctors in the world. It was like the time where Cinderella became a princess. I got famous in one night, which was the moment when I stepped out of a romantic restaurant hand in hand with Vladimir.

We had managed to fool everyone, even our own families who were in dreamland, especially now that the wedding... our wedding was approaching.

After the office scene where we were found in a rather compromising position by my dear friends. I realised that Vladimir had only used me (emotionally) to get what he wanted. I decided to put back the walls of my heart. We should not... well I should not become attached to him knowing that we were both using each other one way or another. All we were, was a harmonised act for both to benefit. He would start paying me the money on instalments when we got married and I would put it in a savings account, while I smiled for the cameras next to him.

"We are left with three days to our wedding, it's reasonable you move in now." Vladimir stated.

We were in my kitchen as I walked around preparing for the day. We were going to check out the decorations at church, reception, house, everything which needed to be in order was being finalised today. To be honest, I did feel a little bit like Cinderella. I was assisted by Vladimir’s sister, Elena who was a fashion critic, as well as his mother, it was every woman's dream wedding. I was preparing for it with so much enthusiasm.

I paused in my tracks, looked at him.

"I would rather wait for the latest date to move in with you. In fact, it would be perfect if I moved in after the wedding." I resisted.

Our constant bickering had continued for the first two months until we reached an agreement. Speak to one another when necessary otherwise ignore. So far it had worked. Surprisingly, Vladimir had been co-operative, objective yet dismissive. Basically he was trying to put the best act he could.

"We won't be home after the wedding, we will be on our honeymoon." He reasoned.

"Well then, I don't think I should move anything since we both know that this is only temporary."

"We are going to be husband and wife Addyline. We can't live in the same city and not be in the same house. I already bought this house for you, it's permanently yours, therefore, you don't need to take out much."

I really didn't want to move in with him, he could be very demanding. He was also a bit controlling since he wanted this to really work, but I don't see any need for that.

We were getting married and people loved us and this little love story we had going on. How much more convincing did they need?

Honestly, I had worked hard to close down my little big heart in this situation but I could only control it till this far, and moving in with him would not serve any purpose. He didn't know that over the past few months I have grown to like him, but I couldn't let the cocky bastard know. After all, we had said no one should catch feelings, now look at me.
