Tws: Amnesia, memory loss, implied childhood trauma, kinda age regression? Does it count if he becomes a child physically, as well-?

Author's POV

Alright. Call me a stalker. Call me a fugitive, or whatever it is that people call inmates. Oh wait, that's what it's called--.

Anyways, I watch over this killing game, above Junko, above Monokuma. They don't know I exist. Nobody does. It's nice, being able to watch. Not forced to interact or be found.

The halls are empty, and the ropes are pretty tight. They obviously can't take down the pillars, but they sure as heck could cause a ruckus if I used them right.

I tied a knot, and left it, starting a few moments longer. Once I was sure it was secure, I took out some scissors, and slowly started snipping.

"Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals," I quietly snickered to myself, as the sound of snaps reverberated throughout the entire school.

Byakuya's POV

I woke up with a start, and stared around, wondering what had woken me from my rest. I was brought to a cold relizations as another snapping sound rang through my walls. It had to be somewhere from the hallways. There wasn't any way it could get to my room without being there.

I stood up, and rubbed the black spots out of my eyes, donning my glasses. I looked down at my 'pajamas', which was no more than an oversized white shirt, and boxers. I slipped on a pair of black slacks, and headed towards a decision I'd obviously regret.

The sounds went on for near minutes, but stopped after the 7th. I had stumbled sleepily into the hallway, to see Naegi standing in the middle, staring at the remains of one connected rope.

"What is the meaning of this, Naegi?" I asked, slowly walking towards him.

"T-togami! You woke up too?" He asked, turning towards me in shock.

"No, I didn't. I was merely sleepwalking, and just so happened to pick up a sentient conversation with you. Yes, it woke me up, Naegi!" I huffed.

"Don't act so roughly, Togami-kun. It's the middle of the night. It isn't as if he'd be able to understand more than you do."

The detective walked in, carrying herself with confidence. Even if her hair was messed up, her clothing rumpled, she still looked professional.

"Did nobody else wake up?" I asked, still attempting to fix the position of my glasses on my nose.

"I don't believe so," Kirigiri answered, crossing her arms.

"Hey, Togami? Are you good there?" Makoto suddenly asked.

"It is none of your business how I feel throughout the day or night. I will head back to my dorm now, so do not question it again," I said curtly, turning on my heels.

"A mere question, yet you look so offended," Kyoko smiled.

The ever so charming detective.

"That was quite the useless comment, Kirigiri."

I walked away, back to my dorm. The moment I had closed and locked my door, I removed the slacks, and collapsed onto my bed, feeling more drained than when I had first left.

3rd Person POV

When everyone gathered in the dining hall, per usual, the only one missing was Byakuya.

"Ok, last time this happened, Byakuya got enough time to frame someone for a murder. Should we go check on him?" Aoi asked the remaining students.

After Sakura's trial, she'd been trying to stay as upbeat as possible, and while it was working, she still seemed down.
