A/n-you guessed it! It's a mastermind AU! We all know the original mastermind(unless you're just reading this with no prior knowledge or NDRV3), so it isn't going to be them! Do you want a hint? Well, I'll give you one! 'It's a girl.'-???

4. This starts at the end of chapter 5, and everything is going as it did in the actual game. Kaede did actually give Rantaro balls to the head.

3rd Person POV

The 5th class trial was finished, and everyone was back in their dorms, per usual. Everyone..was tired. Mentally, physically. They were done. One person was so fed up, they did something quite reckless. They asked Monokuma for a class trial. One final class trial to end it all.

Makis' POV

(By the way, it is 4:00p.m.)

This killing game took so much away from me, yet so little. One human being dies, and then suddenly, I'm a ball of depression. The idiot decided to get closer to me in the first place. I want to say that my grief is all his fault, but I can't put such a heavy blame on someone else. I've been blaming myself these past few days.

Maybe if I knew he was sick, I could've treated him.

Maybe if I didn't get so comfortable around him, I wouldn't be mopping around.

Maybe if I didn't go to those training sessions, mayb-No.

I can't blame myself. I have to blame Monokuma, the mastermind. I got up, and huffed. That's what I'd do. I'd avenge Kaito. Even if it took my final breath. I walked out of my dorm, and walked straight to the gymnasium. "MONOKUMA!" I shouted. He popped up, looking like he was angry. "What?! It hasn't even been a day since the last class trial! Why are you calling me now?!" I glared at him, and said what I needed.

"I want there to be a final class trial to end this killing game. I want it to take place exactly 2 days after this. I will inform the others a day prior. You will allow us to investigate the entire school, even the secret rooms. You can have the mastermind try to hide as much evidence as possible, but they may only start to do so when I inform everyone else."

Monokuma nodded. "I see the game you play here, Missus Assassin. Remember, exactly 2 days time. You better get to work, because nobody will be able to help you till day 2! Puhuhuhu!" He disappeared, like always. I sighed. I would do this. For Kaito. For all of the deceased. Even the gremlin(Kokichi).

3rd Person POV

Maki got to work investigating. She lock picked the dorms of the deceased, looking for any clue that they possibly could've been the mastermind, or even just an acquaintance. She lock picked Kokichis' dorm, and inside, she found an entire board dedicated to finding the mastermind. The ones that were in 'possible suspects' were herself, Tsumugi, and Shuichi(I made this up on the spot, don't judge me!). She immediately took down her name, knowing that she wasn't anything close to the mastermind. That left Shuichi and Tsumugi, but little did she know..before Ouma died, he forgot to put another name in the 'possible suspects' area. That would lead to her demise.
