Shuichi's POV
Criss, cross. Criss, cross. Knot, bunny ears, loop, pull.
"A-ah!"
The bow came untied as Kaori stood up, and her one piece dress almost fell off her body. I started shaking, wondering if she'd yell at me for doing the tie badly, but she just turned back to me, holding up her dress, and smiling softly.
"I'm s-so s-sorry, K-kaori!" I cried.
"It's fine, Shuichi! Actually, it's a bit relieving to say that I'll be a bit late to the lower throne...I'm scared...I...Don't want to go up there..." Kaori murmured.
I nodded in agreement. I didn't want her to go up there, either. Not with Kaede and Rantaro.
Not that there was anything wrong with the 2, but Rantaro was my first lover. He had broken up with me after his family came one step too close to finding out about our relationship. That was 8 years ago.
Now, I was helping the princess get ready, as well. I held no grudges against Kaede or Kaori. I just wished that Rantaro and I didn't have to meet again in such circumstances.
"You miss him, don't you?" Kaori asked me, making me go rigid.
We stayed silent for a few more seconds, no movement prominent. Then, she spoke again.
"I hit a sore spot, huh?" She asked softly.
I quietly continued to double knot the bunny loops, so that it wouldn't fall again.
"I don't blame you, Shuichi. I know it hurts."
"I...We...We made a promise to never see each other again...On romantic circumstances...And...I never knew...That it would hurt so much...To see him. Getting ready to be crowned King of his and Kaede's kingdoms." I sniffled softly.
I finished the tie, and she stood up again. It thankfully didn't fall, as she pulled me into a hug.
I giggled, and reciprocated it, until I felt numb. I felt something on my back, but before I could speak, my limbs failed, and everything went dark.

Kaori's POV
Shuichi went limp in my arms, and I almost giggled. Until I felt a warm substance coat my legs.
"Shuichi? Are you cr-"
I froze. Neon pink blood had coated my once pristine white dress. Shuichi's neon pink blood.
I fell to my knees, and cradled the slowly dying boy in my arms.
"S-shuichi!?" I wailed.
He didn't move, and I checked his neck pulse.
"D-de..."
I started sobbing, burying my face into the boy's navy blue hair.
"W-why...Who.."
"Me."
My head darted up, looking directly at an emotionless looking...Kaede...
Then, as fast as lightning, she grabbed my throat, and slit it. I watched slowly, as blood poured out onto my dress, and Shuichi's head.
"Kill the queen, Kaori.." She said.
I found the will to giggle, and my last words..
"How could I...when you have killed the princess?"

Kaede's POV
My world went dark. When I came to, I was staring at the bodies of my twin sister, and my best friend.
"Shuichi! Kaori!" I screamed, covering my mouth.
I realized that my hands were coated with neon pink blood. I put the pieces together quickly, and...
"Oh my goodness...I'm a monster.." I whispered.
I didn't have a single recollection of it happening. I just stared...Until A ringing sounded around the dressing room.
"WE SHALL NOW REVEAL QUEEN KAEDE AKAMATSU OF THE NOW MERGED KINGDOM, MUSICA, ALONG WITH HER FIANCÉE, AND SOON TO BE HUSBAND, RANTARO AMAMI!"
The announcer yelled, making everyone scream. The entirety of the 2 kingdoms was gathered in the large stadium, and screaming their lungs out, barely noticing the look on my face as I walked to my throne.
"Kaede? Are you okay? Where's Kaori?" Rantaro asked.
"I couldn't find her...Maybe she bailed?" I lied.
"HOLD THE CEREMONY! HOLD THE CEREMONY! KAORI AKAMATSU HAS BEEN FOUND DEAD IN THE CHANGING ROOM, AS WELL AS HER SERVANT, SHUICHI SAIHARA! NOBODY SHALL MOVE AN INCH AS WE INTERROGATE AND INVESTIGATE EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY OF THE PREMISES!" A young maid shouted.

3rd Person POV
Those few sentences sent the crowd into a panic, but Rantaro immediately calmed them down with his soothing voice. Then, as he and Kaede are escorted to their chambers for safety, Rantaro looks Kaede dead in the eye.
"I'm no idiot, Kaede. So tell me...What happened?"

Rantaro's POV
When I questioned her, I didn't think it would make her burst into tears. Well, it was a possibility, but that possibility was small in my mind. Until it became a reality.
"I'm s-o so-rry!" She sobbed, tugging on her hair and dress.
"W-woah the-"
"I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I'M SORRY!" She wailed.
Even though we were escorted into our chambers for safety, they were still sound proof, thankfully.
I hugged her as she weakly slammed her hands against my chest, sobbing and wailing like a child.
Finally, after about 5-15 minutes, she had calmed down, but her tears seemed a
most never ending.
"Wanna talk, now?" I asked, my suspicions slowly creeping up on me with each passing second.
"P-please d-don't te-l.."She gasped, unable to finish her sentence.
I could only nod, and my suspicions became reality just as fast as my buried thoughts.
"I did it. It's all my fault. I killed Kaori and Shuichi."

???'s POV
'Kill the queen...right?
Kaede...If it's kill the queen you want...It's kill the queen you get~
I thought as I drew my bow and arrow.
"Nobody, and I mean nobody...Hurts a member from our training trio."

3rd Person POV
Unbeknownst to Rantaro and Kaede, their window was wide open. Open for a good week in a row, as nobody had noticed or bothered to close it. Well...It was all to late for the mere decision.
The arrow coated in poison flew, right into the small of Kaede's back. Her body went rigid, as it went through her abdominal region. She made a small noise, and Rantaro immediately caught onto it.
Having 12 sisters, all who which died due to assassination, he knew what it felt and sounded like when something sharp pierce an important part of your body.
Then, before he could take action, and call for help, he too, was pierce. Directly in between the eyes.
He fell to the bed, Kaede's body toppling along with him.
The 2 fiancées died of poisoning on their shared bed. They were long dead before anyone found them, and the killer for the 4 remained unknown.

To them, anyways.
