A/N- Mentions of Nagito's diseases, but of course, this isn't my story if there isn't any fluff!

I'm sorry(BRO THIS COULD'VE AUTOCORRECTED TO 'sir Ryoma'-) this was short, Kaye, but I hope you like it!

Mikan's POV

I...really didn't believe in myself. I couldn't believe in Seiko, Kirumi, or anyone who had helped. I knew that one day, I'd have to let go of him. It was something I prepared myself for the minute I fell in love with him.

But...I don't have to worry for him anymore. No, I'll give him all the love my heart can produce. He deserves it. The most kindest boy I had ever met, with a sense of selflessness, both good and bad at the sane time.

He was the definition of Ying-Yang, but human, and with the cons that could be fixed. The cons that made him better.

Everything about him that made me love him.

I walked up to his hospital bed, his thin frame in hospital scrubs just a bit too big for him. I rested my hand on his white, fading to a comforting shade of pale orange, pink? I couldn't really tell, but it set something off in my chest, making me want to give him everything in the world, whether or not it cost my life.

His eyes opened, revealing a dull shade of greenish grey. Again, I could never tell. He was always an enigma. A beautiful enigma.

"Tsu-miki-san..." He whispered in his raspy voice, a voice crack barely heard.

"Yes, I'm right here my beloved. Rest. Everything will be just fine." I cooed, his eyes becoming lidded.

Soon, his eyes were completely closed, his breath evened out like a newly paved road.

"Mikan..." A smooth voice whispered, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Is he okay...?" Hajime asked, his heterochromic eyes blinking a few times.

I nodded, and his warm smile filled the room like sunlight.

"Let's go, unless you want a few more minutes." Hajime whispered.

"Ehm...C-could I just have a f-few minutes?" I asked.

He nodded in understanding, and turned on his heels softly, leaving me and Nagito to our own peace.

I looked at his sleeping figure just a bit more, before standing, and walking out.

I found Hajime with Chiaki, resting soundlessly on her shoulder.

"C-chiaki, we h-have to go. The h-ospital will b-be closing u-up for the n-night soon..." I whispered.

She nodded, and before I could ask if she could wake Hajime up, she grabbed his hips with both hands, and with a strength I'd never seen her use, she hoisted Hajime on her shoulder as if he was a sack of video games.

I clapped my hands together softly, as she carried her friend towards the beautifully decorated car she owned, courtesy to Yonaga-san, one of Kirumi's classmates, for painting it.

"Tsumiki-san, could you help open the door for me?" She asked.

I nodded, taking her car keys, and unlocking her car. I opened the passenger's side door, and she took that chance to place Hajime in the seat.

She put a seatbelt across his chest, murmuring words that I could barely catch.

"Safety first."

"I'll head home now, Tsumiki-san. Thank you." Chiaki said shortly.

"Y-your welcome, Nanami-san! Please, come back anytime!" I said happily.

She hummed, and with that, her car had driven away.

Maybe...the cure does work. I'm not sure yet. I still have yet to see. Well, I'll inform you the next time I get more information, dear diary.
