Author's Note: Hi everyone, My apologies for the massive delay on this chapter. Basically to give you an explanation this story was stolen several months ago by multiple websites and in response to that, I stopped writing while I requested the removal of this story from those websites. Unfortunately, they were unresponsive and it took me quite a while to reach this decision, while I do not accept what they have done nor their inaction I have decided it is unfair to everyone who is actively reading Aloveen Rising to be punished by their unethical actions. I will continue to take action against those sites but I will also be continuing this story for all those who want to read it. The only sites that I have posted my works on are Quotev and Wattpad. If you find them elsewhere they were not posted by me and are being illegally used. Thank you for your patience and as always I hope you enjoy this chapter and the story <3

Ethan awoke to darkness, he rubbed his eyes until they adjusted. His mind was hazy and he couldn't think, stumbling out of bed he headed for the kitchen to get a drink. He winced as the roar of tap shattered the quiet, hoping he didn't wake anyone up he crept back to bed. The water helped his mind clear, he set his empty glass on the bedside table and slid back under the covers. Jake shivered in his sleep and Ethan hesitantly wrapped an arm around him. They stayed like that for a while and when Jake didn't wake up Ethan relaxed convincing himself he'd done the right thing. His thoughts slowed and he quickly fell back asleep.

It felt like he'd only just fallen asleep when he woke up again, he kept his eyes shut hoping to fall back asleep.

"I know you're awake," Jake told him

Ethan sighed and opened his eyes and froze, Jake's face was inches from his, He blushed realising his arms were wrapped around Jake,

Jake smiled, "You must have been deep asleep last night,"

Ethan nodded slowly fighting to hide his embarrassment as his body began to react to the situation,

"I uh, I don't really," he stammered,

Jake laughed softly, "It's ok," he said assuringly, checked his phone he grinned, "But unless you want the twins to see us like this you have about 30 seconds until Nate charges through that door to wake us up for breakfast,

Ethan didn't want to let go but the thought of Nate having that kind of ammunition to tease him with was enough encouragement and he reluctantly let go. Jake shuffled back a little bit just as Nate banged on the door then let himself in.

"Dammit," he muttered, staring at the two of them and running a hand through his hair.

Ethan grinned, "What did you bet this time?"

"The phone bill" Nate groaned, "I'm going to have to get a job at this rate. Can't you two just be like every other teenage couple,"

Jake laughed, "I'd lose all the money I make from Jacie," He saw Nate's face, "I'm joking,"

Nate narrowed his eyes, "That would explain a lot,"

Jake shook his head,

"What would explain a lot?" Jacie asked, walking in behind her brother and jabbing him in the ribs,

"Nothing," Nate said quickly,

Jacie turned to Jake and raised an eyebrow,

"He thinks you pay me to ensure he loses the bets,"

Jacie thought for a moment, "That's genius!," She laughed "Why didn't I think of that."

Nate didn't look convinced but let it go, "Start having showers," he told them, "Breakfast is in thirty,"
