"He is probably kept in ice between his missions. That's how he keeps active in all those years." Hill mentioned.

"That would explain a few... he was that heartbeat. Rumlow is Hydra, isn't he?" I asked slowly.

"Yes. What heartbeat?" Steve wondered.

"On a couple of our missions, I found a heartbeat that never changed despite everything going on. Each time Rumlow stopped me from finding out what was keeping that person from reacting to all the commotion. He must have known what it was, which I suspect to be that Bucky or possibly more humans like him?" I explained while ending in a question.

"Perhaps. We need to get out though but we can't bring you along as you are right now." Hill answered. I shrugged knowing I would only hold them back right now as my energy was still very low.

"Meh, I'll be fine. Just go already. This could get bloodier than you might be able to stomach." Hill opened a hole and one by one they got out. Natasha was the last. She touched my arm real quick.

"Leona, thank you so far. Meet us at triskelion as soon as you can." I couldn't quite read the look in her eyes.

"Just go. I'll take these down first. You don't want to see this." I warned her as my vampire side was slowly taking over. Rumlow and Pierce. Both considered important members of Shield betraying everyone. Who knows how much blood is already on their hands. Innocent blood as I don't believe they would have made sure not to kill innocent people.

As soon as the doors opened a little, I attacked with all my vampire self. The bloodshed was horrible and none of them stood any chance. Once I was satisfied, I ran my way to the triskelion not caring about my clothing being covered in blood.

Once there, I went up while all humans tried to flee. I just caught the last of Steve's speech. He was a good leader. I heard gunshots all over the building. We have begun a fight. "Hands up where I can see them." Several shield agents had me at gunpoint.

"Shield or Hydra?" a blonde asked.

"Neither but I prefer Shield-." Rumlow's team. Well the part that was left of it came and fired at us. I broke all their necks but may have ripped a head off. Or two. Oops.

"Does that answer your question?" I asked calmly as if I hadn't just plainly murdered humans in front of them.

"Here. Go to the top floor. I think you might be of use there. Protect the councilmembers." The blonde threw me a badge.

"Aside from Pierce I know." I went up with the badge and entered the room. The councilmembers just ripped pins off and fled. I helped them get out safely before returning. Natasha was there too holding Pierce at gunpoint. She was okay. Good.

"Who are you?" Pierce demanded to know.

"Does it matter? Or did you want to tell the devil I said hi?"

"Get me out of here! I saw you save the councilmembers. I am one too. Hydra is coming for me." He yelled.

"Nah. You know the one thing humans believe they can control when they lie is their heartbeat. But there is always a certain change in the beat no matter how tiny. Machines can't detect it yet. But I can and you mr Pierce, are a liar."

"How dare you be so disrespectful! I am your boss!" He yelled though the tone was getting a bit desperate

"Mr Fury, are you done with him? I am still a little...peckish." I asked the tall man.

"Have your fun with him." I rushed the guy and grabbed him by the throat.

"One thing I came to hate about humans, is betrayal. You have a high-ranking job to do something wonderful. And yet you choose to do the wrong things. A shame that you smell quite nice. It makes it harder to resist what I am about to do." I bit him and I drained him.

Once done, I felt full. Like over-eating full. "That looked disgusting." the humans commented.

"I know." I shrugged.

"You look like crap. You should get that checked out." Natasha said.

"Nah, I would say you should see the other guys but you already are. Somewhat." I smiled like a satisfied cat.

"We should go. That thing is about to crash." Natasha said and we left. I found Sam still fighting this guy. I may have interfered by breaking his neck. The building was coming down as this big heli-carrier crashed into it. Sam and I ran and I may have thrown him before the building came down in its entirety. Well...Shit.

For a moment I blacked out but after I don't know how long, I returned to consciousness and then I had to dig my way out. Thank god for being full. I used my gift to create my way out and once out, I heard voices.

"OVER THERE!" People in suits came running.

"I need a medic here!" People touched me.

"I-I'm fine. I just n-need a nap." my voice was shaky as the fact that I had been crushed by a building was slowly sinking in.

"Ma'am you just survived a building crashing down. You can't be fine." a man replied and he tried to  put me on a gurney

"Just take me home." They didn't. They took me to a hospital where I disappeared to the tower as soon as I could. Once I entered, Jarvis chose to comment.

"Miss Leona welcome back. You look awful if I may say so." The AI's voice was nice to hear.

"Thanks Jarvis. I know I look horrible. Is anyone around?" I asked.

"Dr Banner is in his lab, master Stark is out. mr Barton is gone on a mission, Thor left for Asgard and Captain Rogers is at the hospital. I heard he is to be discharged today." that's a relief.

"What about Romanoff?" I wondered.

"What about me?" her voice came from  a door beside me.

"Nothing. Just wondering where you were. How is the shoulder?" I asked turning to her and checking her over for wounds.
