"How do you know?" Emmett asked the captured man.

"Leona knows you are here but thinks you two were murdered, merely because she got involved in this war. That is why I am here. To find out what is really going on." He answered.

"Someone is coming. Hide him!" one of the shifters rushed. Loki was manhandled and thrown into a closet. "Stay quiet." He was warned before the door closed though a small strip of light came from it.

Outside the closet the vampires and wolves acted like nothing was wrong. The wolves were talking near the closet, to hide Loki's heartbeat with their own. Two soldiers entered the room with bags. They were given their daily food and bloodbags for the vampires.

Noticing the wolves weren't taking the food as fast as usual, one of the soldiers stalled. His squad-mate reminded him not too. "Hurry up. Or they might throw you in that beast's room." He warned his teammate. Remembering the gruesome scene, they had been forced to clean up, the soldiers left.

Once it was safe again Loki was pulled out by Emmett. "What was that about? Not that I'm not grateful you didn't alert them." he asked wondering what the soldiers had meant. he had been ableto hear everything from inside the closet as the door hadn't been fully closed.

"It's not important. Tell us how she found out about us being here." Carlisle chose to ignore the questions.

"We were attacked by five soldiers. One of them had this cuff on them. Leona thought it to be yours, because of the smell and the family-crest." He said trying to reach in his pocket. Demetri did that instead and showed the cuff. Emmett confirmed it was his.

"We interrogated the soldier, who said Thanos was killing you all, one per day for each day she was involved. While she wanted to come here herself, it was simply too dangerous." in the meantime a certain king touched Loki's skin.

"So you went instead. He isn't lying by the way. I see Leona helping save his people from certain death, and learning a great deal about her gift. Yet you keep something secret from even me." Aro had read Loki's mind. The young god was truthful, despite his mischievous nature.

"What are you hiding? Does it have to do with Leona?" Jane questioned the stranger.

"Nothing of your concern I assure you." Her eyes narrowed at that answer, preparing to use her gift on him.

"Don't make us throw you in his room. You'll die." Alec warned him.

"Who?" that answer came when a door opened and the sound of footsteps approaching reached everyone's ears.

"Why do I hear my mate's name mentioned so often today? Do I need to remind you what happened last time?" A dark voice growled. Immediately most of the vampires and the wolves made way. This big man, bigger than Emmett, had entered the room. He gave off this terrifying vibe. Glancing around, the other supernatural beings in the room, including the kings, looked nervous.

The man had completely black eyes, and just his whole presence screamed danger. "Demetri." Immediately, the mentioned vampire was in front of the man. "Tell me everything." Demetri did bringing his friend up to date. Once done, he re-joined Heidi's side. The man turned to the young god.

"You can't do that!" Alice suddenly exclaimed. She had seen what Felix had planned. Without warning, he had her up against the wall by her neck, nearly breaking the wall with the force he used.

"Speak." He growled in demand.

"I saw your idea. If Leona is brought to you or you to her, both times she gets killed." She spoke firmly. If Felix had detected any hint of uncertainty, he would've ignored her warning.

"I will not be kept from my mate any longer. Our bond as mates is already fading as we speak and you know it." Loki picked that up as an interesting bit of information.

"I may be able to offer a solution. I am able to bring her something of yours back with me. Her faith in her mating bond with you, is slipping because she only has her drawings to keep you on her mind. I am certain, your smell will help her regain some of that faith." Loki offered.

"Can we all write my aunt a message? Would you be willing to give those too?" Renesmee asked.

"If you are quick. The longer I am here, the bigger the chance I am found by the wrong people." Loki sighed. The child was adorable and hard to deny her request. So some of the vampires grabbed a paper and a pen for each and the papers went around the respective families.

"Thank you, mr Loki. Having this way to assure Leona we are okay and safe, and for us knowing the truth now, is a great relief. She has been put through so much already." Esme thanked the god.

"Your welcome madam." She hugged him real quick before joining her family.

"I know you like her the same way Felix does." Aro spoke quietly from Loki's left, as he watched the vampires and the wolves write the quick messages. "Don't deny it. I saw your thoughts. I won't tell Felix. Because I do know what that poem in Salamon's journals meant. I just hope you know you will have to let her go someday. And that you will do that in a peaceful manner.

"As hard as that will be. I have no choice. I doubt I have a chance anyway. Considering her previous choice." He spoke, watching Felix return with a sweater and a letter.

"Felix is far different yes, but don't doubt the way soulmates are chosen, rather cherish the time you have with yours." After about an hour, Loki was given an envelope with several letters. He was also given a sweater. Those got put in a small bag. Demetri brought the god back where he found him with Alec. But just before he teleported, using the stone again, he saw Thanos at the base. The titan was looking straight at him and someone shot him just as he disappeared.
