Jaehyuk's phone suddenly rang. "Sorry, I need to take this."

"It's okay." Heeyoung said while nodding her head. He walked going to the kitchen and answered the phone, leaving her alone in the living room.

She got her mug of hot water and took a sip before standing up to look around the living room more up-close. There was a vase with wilted flowers, boxes of shoes that she assumed are empty, and–

"Wakumi?" She whispered to herself as she saw a picture of Jaehyuk and a woman on top of the drawer.

Heeyoung hesitated on whether or not she should get the frame to look at her even closer.

"You can take a look at it, don't worry." Jaehyuk's voice startled her as he was now back in the living room.

She looked back at the frame again and carefully brought it up for her to see. Wakumi had red hair, pale white skin, and big bright eyes. To Heeyoung, she looked far more prettier than herself. The confidence she had has flunked down now that she finally got to see how Wakumi looked like.

"This is Wakumi, right? She's so pretty..." She complimented her.

A smile appeared on Jaehyuk's lips. "Mhmm, that's her. Everyone thinks she's pretty but she always hated how she looked like."

"How could she? She has the features of a goddess." She accidentally blurted out.

Their eyes widened after what she said which made Jaehyuk laugh. "Hey, don't get attracted to the love of my life. She's mine." He joked around.

"I'm just telling the truth, look at her cute nose though." Heeyoung said with a small pang of jealousy.

"No wonder even Hyunsuk was attracted to her." She mumbled to herself but it was loud enough for him to hear.

His smile went from bright to apologetic as he saw how she stared at her. "Can I ask you something about Mr. Choi and Wakumi?" He leaned on the plain white wall and folded his arms.

"If I know the answer, then sure." She placed the frame back to it's place and looked at him.

"Were you and him still together when Wakumi told him she was pregnant? Did you know about it back then?"

She bit the inside of her cheek before answering. "No, I didn't know about it before. Around that time, Hyunsuk did something that got me mad and I told him to stop courting me." Heeyoung sighed then continued. "He told me he went to the club, got drunk, and ended up sleeping with her cause he was wasted as hell."

Jaehyuk avoided eye contact with her but nodded his head a few times. "Then she showed up at his old apartment and told him she was pregnant with his kids also around the time when me and Hyunsuk made up."

"So we were both living in a lie at that time." He said softly and scoffed. "What a crazy world."

"No, Jaehyuk. It wasn't only at that time, we were living in a lie for years." Her eyes started tearing up as she looked at him. "Hyunsuk never told me about them, Wakumi never told you about him."

"Hyunsuk would meet with her behind my back to check on how the babies were doing and give her some financial support for her pregnancy. I never told him this, but I already felt it before that he was keeping something from me. I just shrugged it off." A few tears fell from her eyes but she quickly wiped them.

"That explains why she would go to checkups without me." Jaehyuk bit his lip while forcing himself to hold back the tears. "All this time I thought that the reason why she suddenly left me was because I didn't give her enough love and support while she was pregnant. Ah, shit." Tears started rolling on his cheeks too.

They stood in silence with damp cheeks and a heavy heart. The thoughts that clouded their minds were all realizations and sadness with how everything has turned out.

"I'm sorry I won't be able to help you anymore..." Heeyoung said with guilt. "I broke up with Hyunsuk..."

He looked at her apologetically as she started sobbing loudly. She looked like she was going to fall cause her body started shaking as she let all her tears out. Her body started becoming weak and her legs gave up, causing her to fall on her knees. Jaehyuk quickly went to her and held her in his arms as she continued sobbing.

"Just let it all out." He softly patted her head as she cried on his chest. "You don't need to worry about that, it's my job to take care of it. For now, all you need to do is take your time to heal."
