Haruto and Sei continued crying at the back of the car due to fear and Hyunsuk was already getting annoyed.

"Stop crying already, okay?" He tried to tell them as calm as possible, but it came out in a stern voice.

He didn't want to scare the kids like that but seeing Jaehyuk around them with Heeyoung definitely pushed a button. The thought of the four of them being together like a happy family killed him. It was like his whole world was taken from him.

"I-I want to be with Mommy." Haruto said in between his sobs.

"You can't be with her anymore." He truthfully told him, still keeping his eyes on the road.

It made him cry even harder, so close to pulling a tantrum. "But why? She's my mommy! I want my mommy!" He screamed while crying.

"She's not your mommy! Your mommy's dead! Stop calling her your mom cause we're not together anymore!" Hyunsuk yelled, looking back at him and the road alternately.

The twins fell silent as they felt shock run through their bodies. Their known father immediately regret what he said, wanting to apologize, but it was too late.

It's a given rule that you should keep your eyes on the road at all times to avoid accidents, but seeing how Hyunsuk didn't keep that in mind, that was definitely the outcome.

As he looked back at the road, he panicked as he saw how close they were to the car in front of them. He swerved to the right, just as the same time that another car was passing.

The three of them as well as the driver of the other car were immediately brought to the hospital. Since it was an accident that could be fatal, they were rushed to the emergency room and treated as soon as possible. News outlets immediately reported on the situation because a famous CEO is involved.

Heeyoung heard about the news once she arrived home. She didn't even have time to kick off her shoes before dashing back out of her apartment and riding in Jaehyuk's car again, telling him about the sudden accident. They rushed to the mentioned hospital in the article and pushed their way through the reporters and cameramen flocking at multiple entrances of the building.

They both sighed in relief after seeing that the twins were safe and sleeping in one room. There were just multiple scars and wounds from the shattered glass and sudden impacts of the accident. In the other room was Hyunsuk, also in the same state except that he also had a mild concussion. Heeyoung visited his room for a moment, not wanting to stay for too long cause she was mad at him. Dohyun and Byounggon came shortly after, replacing her in the seat.

She sat down on the bench in front of the two rooms. It felt like she didn't deserve to be there since she wasn't Hyunsuk's fiance anymore, nor was she related to the twins. A part of her felt like the situation was her fault too. That if she didn't come to visit the kids, maybe this wouldn't happen. She just missed them so bad that she wanted to be with them without Hyunsuk's presence.

Heeyoung softly cried while she was seated there, earning a few looks from some of the nurses passing by their hall. Although it wasn't a new sight to them so they just brushed it off.

A hand suddenly rested on Heeyoung's shoulder, startling her for a second. "Hey Heeyoung, it's been a while." Indigo gave her a small, apologetic smile before hugging her.

She couldn't say anything and just continued crying in her arms. Indigo softly carressed her hair, just letting her release all the tears she's been hiding. Heeyoung let go of her when she felt like it might have been uncomfortable for her already.

"Sorry, I just couldn't stop myself from crying." She chuckled before sniffling.

"No need to apologize, you've been through some tough situations." She wiped the tears on Heeyoung's cheeks. "It's also tough being here for your ex fiance and his kids because you've become attached to them."

"So it seems like Hyunsuk told you that we broke up."

"Actually, I heard it from Dohyun. He came to the bakery looking for Jihoon so he could rant about how stressed he was but I was the only one there."

"Oh haha. Well, yeah. I just can't stand his attitude already. I mean, it's something that he could work on if he wasn't a father, you know? As a parent, things shouldn't be about you and your personal gains most of the time."

"Dohyun told me that too. He really wants Hyunsuk to change for the betterment of his own life but he really just doesn't focus on the kids huh?"

"Yup, it's always him being a workaholic or him spending all his time with me back when I didn't know about the kids yet. He did kinda develop the part where he hangs out with just me, but he still stays as a workaholic."

"And a self centered person. Include the thing with Jaehyun too."

"Jaehyun? You mean Jaehyuk?"

"Oh, is it Jaehyuk? Sorry, I messed up his name." Indigo laughed. "But yeah, him. Imagine if he just had a good co-parenting agreement with him, things wouldn't get out of hand."

"Well boys are boys, their pride stands strong like their lives depend on it."

"Are the nannies inside with the twins?"

"Uhm no, it's actually Jaehyuk who's inside."

Indigo's eyes widen. "Do the kids know already?"

She shakes her head in response. "But I just left him there to look after them in case anything happens, I visited Hyunsuk's room for a moment."

"Oh okay."

"How about Jihoon? Where is he?"

"Closing the bakery early. I think he's on his way by now."

"Do you wanna stay inside their room? It's a lot colder there." Heeyoung pointed at the twins' room.

"Yeah sure, let's see if this Jaehyuk guy looks like them too."

"Oh you'll definitely be surprised once you see him and Sei." They chuckled before entering.
