——,

It's a freaking tiring day.

Nakapagpahinga ako ng more than 8 hours after sa byahe from Espanya, pero agad din kaming lumarga to buy things for lodging.

“Miran! I can't feel my legs” I cried.

That's true.

Miran came up in hurry from the kitchen.

She frowned as if I did an unforgiveness sin.

“Oa mo talaga ano, akala ko napapano kana bwuset”
Aniya at itinuloy ang pagkain niya.

“Naiinis ako sayo Miran. You know that I don't like to be called using my first name especially in public, and you even called me Miss?!”

She mimicked me.

“Arte arte mo naman kase, ang ganda ng pangalan mo ayaw mo naman gamiten”

My name had change when the time I went in Spain.

Paloma Evangeline D. Hades y Ortega

Pinahaba nila ng sobra ang aking pangalan. But actually, that wasn't suppose to be my name. Balak noon ni lola na ipaalis ang Evangeline at Dima-tibag sa pangalan ko, but obviously, I refused. 'Cause it's the only memory mother left me.

“Nevermind Miran”

I was about to close my eyes when suddenly I remembered. I was still wearing contact lenses.

“Miran, help me remove these contact lenses”
She rolled her eyes perfectly.

“Isa pa 'yang issue na 'yan. Suot ka ng suot ng ganyan, halos araw araw iba iba ang kulay ng mata mo nako kung nabulag ka eh bahala kana, hindi kana makakakita ng talong 'non"

Halos lumuwa ang mata ko sa mga pinagsasabi niya pero tawa tawa lang siya as if it's just a normal joke.

“HALA pakshet! Blue rin pala mata mo?! Katulad kay abuela? 'Bat 'di ko alam iyon? All this time blue pala eyes mo.. Akala ko contact lenses lang 'yan”

My forehead automatically crumpled.
She don't know that I have these blue eyes all the time?
What the..

“You didn't ask in a first place. And what's wrong if I had blue colored eye?”

She were still stilled in a minute 'til she's finally back to her senses.

“Pero baket hindi niya sinabi sakin na blue mata mo?”

I'm a little but confuse of Miran. What is she talking about? Oh no, let me rephrase it. Who is she talking about?

“Sino?” I simply asked which 'caused of her priceless face.

“S-si a-ano --” a ring from my phone cut Miran from talking.

I immediately answer the phone knowing it's abuela who's calling.

“Abuela, we have arrived safely and we were about to sleep”

“Did I disturb your rest iha?”

“Uh no, not really abuela. Me and Miran were still talking. Could you believe it abuela, she doesn't know that I have blue eyes. You Should have seen her face”

“She doesn't know? How come?”

“I don't know, anyways, tomorrow ko na pupuntahan iyong company, and right now, I badly need some rest abuela”
