Me, Hermann, Cruz were playing cards in the lounge. Everyone else was scattered around the firehouse so we were only the ones in the room when chase walked in. Chase has been in the firehouse the past week temporarily replacing Newhouse.

"Hey Cruz, Hermann" he nodded to both of them and they looked up acknowledging him before turning back to the game. I look down not wanting to meet the glare from chase that's been meeting my gaze since he got here.
