Summary: imagine having a seizure whilst having lunch with Connor Rhodes

Disclaimer: I've never experienced this so I'm sorry if my imagine isn't that convincing to those that have had one before

I worked around the corner from my boyfriend Connor which was really convenient for when our lunches crashes. Like today, we both had lunch around the same time so we decided that I would head over to med during my break and eat with him.

I walked into the emergency room and I frowned looking around why am I here? At Connors workplace?

"Emily?" I look up to Maggie who was looking at me worried.

"Maggie? What? Am I? Oh" I frowned when I realised I forgotten what I came all this way for
"Sorry about that I was wondering where Connor is?" Her expression flattens out once she realised I was okay

"Oh he just went to the toilet, and told me to tell you to make yourself comfortable in the break room"

"Thanks Maggie, have a good day"

"You too hun" I smiled at her and waved at a few doctors and nurses I know before listening to what Connor said for me to to whilst waiting for him

He laughed at my face as I looked down at the Coke he made me spill all over my jeans. He's lucky they're black
"Stop laughing, this is your fault!" He didn't even attempt to hold back and laughed even louder at my reaction
"Babe this is not funny" I groaned putting my elbows on the table and placed my head in my hands. Once I looked up I noticed his smiling face again followed by a laugh, then it repeated. Each time I looked up he was in the exact same movement, in the exact same position, like reoccurring deja vu that wouldn't stop

"Connor" he was still laughing
"Connor stop laughing please" he was still on repeat throwing his head back many times. I just wanted all of this to stop
"Connor" I was getting scared. What was happening to him?
"Connor please stop"

I sighed opening my eyes to look at Connor who was holding me by my shoulders with a scared look on his face

"Babe?" He asked cautiously

"Yeah? What's wrong?" I moved my hand up to his face not liking whatever's making him scared like this

"Do you not remember?" I shook my head

"Remember what?" He frowned

"Nothing" I brushed it off picking up a fry from my box

everything around me was shaking. Was it an earthquake? I grabbed onto the closest thing, that being a table and held on for dear life until I realised the building wasn't shaking like this. It was me. The shaking became harder and my body was moving on it's own jerking in all directions. I felt myself being placed on a hard floor away from everything else but I couldn't make out anything except the cold floor against my bare legs

Connors POV

I laughed at her throwing my head back at her actions and went to picking up my food and eating it

"Connor" I looked to Emily and she was staring at me. But it didn't seem like it
"Connor stop laughing please" my eyebrows scrunched together I wasn't laughing at that point 

"Babe? Are you okay?" She ignored me repeating herself

"Connor" I could see her confused expression turn scared and I moved close to her grabbing her shoulders lightly 

"Connor please stop" she said, but she wasn't looking at me, she was looking at where I was previously seated. She shook her head and closed her eyes before re opening them

"Babe?" I asked cautiously seeing if she was still in the state from earlier

"Yeah? What's wrong?" She moved her hand up to my face and rubbed her thumb over the creases of my forehead

"Do you not remember?" She shook my head not having any clue on what I was talking about

"Remember what?" I frowned

"Nothing" she believed me, dropping the subject and picked up a fry from her box. I still studied her trying to piece together what's going on. I came to the conclusion that she's messing with me but then I noticed her shaking

"Emily? Babe?" She tuned me out and I watched her grab onto a table, moving closer to her slowly she griped the table tighter. Her shaking became more furious and then my eyes widened when i realised she was having a seizure. Her movements were becoming more frantic and she wasn't staying still in the slightest

"Babe!" I watched as her body directed itself to the floor and I caught her and moved her away from everything, keeping my hand on the back of her head so she doesn't hurt it
"HELP!" No one answered but I couldn't get up in fear that she will hurt her head if I move my head
"HELP DOCTOR! PLEASE SOMEONE!" I couldn't check her over not having any equipment so I had to wait for someone else

"Connor? Oh my" dr choi. A nurse rushed in behind him and he flashed a light in her eyes

"We need 8mg lorazepam" she nodded and rushed off, out of our line of view until she got it back. Once it was in Emily's system her movements showed down till they came to a complete stop

"Oh my gosh" I muttered. Still shaken by all of this

"Treatment 3 is open. Get her in there" I picked her up and placed her in the room before letting dr choi do his work

Emily's POV

I fought against the urge to keep my eyes shut and opened them looking around

"Connor?" I whisper seeing him on a chair with his head on my bed asleep. Ounce I took a look at his face and noticing how tired he looked I let him sleep a little more and decided my questions could wait

"Babe?" I looked down to Connor who just opened his eyes

"Hey? What happened?" I mutter to his half awake self

"You don't remember?" I shake my head wondering where he's going with this

"What's the last thing you remember?"

"Me spilling my drink all over me at lunch. Why?"

"You had a seizure after. It was bad babe I was so worried " I could see the stress it caused him and I reached out to grab his hand

"I'm sorry for making you worried babe"

"No don't be. I'm glad I was there and even more glad your doing better" he grabbed my hand and brought his lips to it and kissed all over
