Me and Alice slowly followed after Bella to make sure she was alright, hoping Edward didn't get to far into killing himself to not be saved
"He's alive" her face was straight as she tried not to break down in front of all these people but I could see the relief in her eyes.

She grabbed onto my arm lightly as we approached the giant building and lead me inside with her
"Come on guys, it's a festival. You wouldn't want to make a scene" Alice butted into their conversation having been listening to it on the way here

"No we wouldn't" the tall guy mumbled

"Enough" a sound of heels clicking in the floor caught all of our attention and put it on hers
"Jane" Edward greeted. She ignored him getting to the point on why she was here

"Aro sent me to see what was taking so long" she turned around without another word and Alice's eyes clouded over. Edwards eyes snapped to me holding a look I couldn't understand

"I'm so sorry rain, I'm so sorry" she rushed forward pulling me into her arms
"I didn't see,  I didn't see till now. I'm so sorry" I could see the venom welling up in Alice's eyes and I looked to Edward who held a similar expression

"Alice your scaring me" I mumbled. She shook her head trying to get rid of the tears
"It's okay, we're gonna make sure nothing happens" she said mainly to Edward who nodded his head in agreement.

We followed after them all going through different paths to get to the destination

We walked in to the giant room and Alice scooted me behind her a bit, I looked up admiring the modern architecture of this place but stopped when a guy stood up off his throne and walked over to us

"Ah sister send you out to get one and you bring back 2 and 2 halves. Such a clever girl" he clapped his hands together with a smile on his face
"Bella is alive after all. Isn't that wonderful. I love a happy ending" he walked straight over to Bella and Edward immediately taking Edward's hands in his own

"They are so rare" Aro said nothing for a second before he speaks in italian

(Your female singer) my eyes widened in understanding when I heard what he said. How could he know so much just touching him? I got to the conclusion that it had something to do with his power that some vampires have
"Her blood appeals to you so much. It makes me thirsty. How can you stand to be so close to her?"

"Aro can read every thought I've ever had In One touch. And now you know everything so get on with it" Aro keeps his hand clasped in Edwards before he turns to me. Alice looks at me with a sorrow filled look and I look down away from their gazes

"We have 2 things to deal with tonight, so let's get started"
"Your quite the sole reader yourself, Edward, though you can't read bellas thoughts" he takes a step back letting go of Edward
"Fascinating"
"I would love to see if you are an exception to my gifts as well. Will you do the honour?" he says with his hand held out to her.

She cautiously walks forward putting her hand in his and he clasped his other hand over hers before bowing his head in concentration. After a few seconds he lifts his head up with a shocked expression
"Interesting" he chuckles
"I see nothing" he walks away from us slowly
"I wonder if....let us see if she is immune to all our powers. Shall we, Jane?" She looks from Aro to Bella

"Pain" Edward rushes in front her body, going still with the agonising feeling

"Stop!" Bella shouts as Edward drops but someone stops her from going to him. Me and Alice crouch down at Edward waiting for him to not be in pain anymore. He holds my hand for comfort. Careful not to squeeze my hand when he gets the rushes of pain
"Don't, please stop, stop! Just stop hurting him, please! Please!"
