I walked through the doors having just come back from a call with shay when I stopped and grabbed onto something, leaning over and clutching my head trying to shake away the stars that appeared in my vision.

Once I recollected myself I looked around, happy when I realised that no one saw what happened. I walked over to the couch and put my head on Otis' lap

"What you doing?" I asked looking up at him

"Well I was trying to meditate, but you made me lose focus"

"Oh well"

"Kayla!" I looked up at Matt

"Peters about to drink your drink!"

"Did you just rat me out?" I heard Peter mutter to Matt

"Mills, you better not" I got off Otis and stood up quickly watching as black clouded my vision

"Kayla?" Otis stood up and held my shoulders. I blinked rapidly trying to get rid of the dizziness

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm good, just tired that's all" that wasn't a lie. I've been so exhausted recently no matter how much sleep I got

"Okay then get some rest" I patted his shoulder reassuring him I'll be okay

"Yeah I will" I walked past everyone taking my drink out of peters hand with a smile and went to go lie down

I sighed hearing the bell go off

Ambulance 61 west Main Street

I got up off my bed that I just literally sat on and rushed to the ambulance

"Sorry Otis, Resting is gonna have to wait" he frowned watching me as I sped up out of the firehouse

I walked back through the firehouse and went to pour myself some water

"Kayla?" I heard Cruz ask. I hummed looking over at him sitting on the table

"Are you okay? you look pale and you look out of it" I nodded getting a glass out and turning on the tap

"Yeah I'm good" he took my word for it turning away, but as I brought the glass to my lips I felt the dizziness take over and this time I couldn't fight back. The glass slipped out of my hands gaining attention of everyone else and I dropped falling next to it

Otis' POV

My head snapped to the kitchen after hearing glass shatter and I watched Kayla drop to the floor beside it

"Kayla!" I rushed over to her with everyone behind me

"Kayla? Wake up"

Kaylas pov

I winced opening my eyes and seeing 51 standing above me

"What's going on?" I muttered. Otis let out a large sigh and helped me up off the floor

"You fainted, shays gonna look at you okay?"

"Otis I'm okay, she doesn't need to check over me" shay walked over with the medical kit and i sighed

"Shay, leave it, I'm fine" she shook her head not believing me

"Then let me check you up to see then" I rolled my eyes groaning as they sat me down on the couch

"This is not necessary" I mumbled. Shay rolled her eyes at my stubbornness but carried on

"She's dehydrated" shay said the verdict. Otis ran out the room appearing back with a giant glass of water.

"Drink. Now." I laughed taking the cup out of his hands

"Okay, geeze" he sat next to me watching me drink the glass of water with a glare

"Calm down Otis. I'm gonna be fine" his eyes didn't go off the cup next to me but he put an arm over my shoulder

"I know. Thanks to me" I used my elbow to lightly hit his ribs.
"Okay okay, I'll stop" he mumbled kissing the top of my head
