Me and Damon sat at the mystic grill bar drinking our drinks and having a good time
"I'm just gonna go to the toilet" he smiled
"Okay" he kisses my lips quickly before standing up on his chair and going
I sat at the bar awkwardly for a few moments not used to being on my own
"Hey" I look up and see Tyler take the seat on the other side of me
"Hey Tyler" he smiles at me and orders a drink from Matt behind the counter "I like your outfit. You look nice" I look down at my outfit noticing it was the one I was debating on wearing because of how I look in it so his words made me feel better about my choice
"Thank you, I like yours too" I hear the seat pull out next to me but no one sits down. I look to see Damon standing there
"You ready to go?" I furrow my eyebrows
we didn't get here that long ago
"Yeah" I nod going with whatever he's saying in case he saw someone he wasn't supposed to or something, seen as theres so many supernatural beings in mystic falls
"I'll see you Tyler" I stand up out of my seat and give Tyler a smile
"Bye" me and Damon walk out of mystic grills and cross the road to his car
When I notice the streets becoming awfully familiar I turn to Damon "Damon I thought I was staying with you tonight?" I questioned wondering if that was the case why were going to mine
"Oh yeah" he bluntly states before turning the car around going the other way back to his place

"Are you gonna tell me what's wrong Damon?" I ask putting my overnight bag on his bed
"Nothings wrong" He grumbles. He moves away from me and onto the love seat.
"Damon, talk to me" I pleaded
"What? like how you talk to Tyler?" He snaps back and I tilt my head confused
"What- how was i talking to Tyler?" I ask walking closer to him
"'Oh I like your outfit too' whatever the hell that means" he rolls his eyes putting on a really bad impersonation of my voice

"First of all Damon I don't sound like that and second I was just complimenting his outfit" I explain and move to sit on his lap so I'm facing him. When he doesn't say or do anything I grab his face with my hands and force him to look in my eyes "Damon I may say compliments to others But I do to you as well. It's not like I go to bed with them every night, Just you. Or I kiss them all the time, Or say I love you, it's just you Damon. Just you. I love you Damon, no one else"
"I don't want to be second best again" I cup his face in my hand and lean down to kiss him
"And you never will be. There's no competition cause to me your always first. No matter who it is"
