"Okay come on" he walks with me with me out of his office and down to where everyone was. As soon as me and chief make out way through the doors everyone turns to us.

"Squad 3, this is your new candidate. Delilah chase" as soon as those words left his mouth half of the people in the room started laughing. Only one person out of them on the table thats holding a newspaper doesn't laugh. I drop my head down in shame

"Squad 3 ENOUGH!" Chiefs voice sounded echoing off the walls. So it was squad three that was laughing, this is a bad start already

"Hi I'm lieutenant severide of squad three" I noticed that he was the one on the table that didn't laugh and I felt happy that he was the one I was following orders from

"I'm lieutenant Casey of truck 81" another guy says walking up to me shaking my hand

"Over there is: Cruz, mouch, Otis, Hermann, mills. All truck 81" they all wave at me and I give a small one back. So Hermann was the one that said I could take Hadley. I was bummed that everyone that didn't laugh at me was on truck 81. 2 girls got out of there seat

"I'm Dawson and this is shay. We're paramedics"
